Dynamic Scriptures 3

By Revd 'Remi Tejumola

Shalom! God reveals Himself to those that worship Him in many kinds of ways. I've seen one of these outstanding ways in the Bible. People do experience such things as this and it's great:

Exodus 24: 9-11
9 Then went up Moses, and Aaron, Nadab, and Abihu, and seventy of the elders of Israel:
10 And they saw the God of Israel: and there was under his feet as it were a paved work of a sapphire stone, and as it were the body of heaven in his clearness.
11 And upon the nobles of the children of Israel he laid not his hand: also they saw God, and did eat and drink.

God revealed Himself to all the leaders of His people here, Moses, Aaron, Nadab, etc. What a great sight it must have been, and what an experience.

As you respond to the Word of God in Psalm 50: 23, you can experience what we know in Christian circles as God's visitation as we've read above in the book of Exodus. This experience is not exclusive to anyone. Jesus puts it this way, "If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him" (John 14: 23). God visits those that love Him. That Psalm again goes like this, "Whoso offereth praise glorifieth me: and to him that ordereth his conversation aright will I shew the salvation of God."

There was a joint love feast that I attended in June 1985 between several Christian fellowship groups. We began around 10am and we were there till 6pm. We sang, worshipped and exchange pleasantries among ourselves, and ate food together. The Presence of God was evidently there. The event took place inside the Botanical Garden of the University of Ibadan. We sat on the grassy field. The only place that could be better to be on that day would be heaven. There was LOVE THERE. The whole atmosphere was filled with it.

Wherever you find the Presence of God, that's where you will find love, joy, peace and all the blessings, more than you could ever think of. That's the only place you would always want to be. That's the place you will call THERE. God's presence attends those that love Him and worship Him. Give time to the worship of God alone and with other believers and you will never regret it.

Till next posting, God bless.

A Soldier Gone To Headquaters

By Revd 'Remi Tejumola Shalom! A senior friend just went home to be with the Lord, PASTOR PATRICK EZEKUDE OBAZE. He was aged 78 years old. I got to know him in 1985 after I became a part of the Faith Clinic which was founded by Rev. (Dr.) I.K.U. Ibeneme of blessed memory. Uncle 'Bobo' Obaze, as was fondly called by Dr. Ibeneme, was one of the numerous workers that the Faith Clinic had in those days in the mid-80s. All the workers came from different churches and ministries, and were of various ages and giftings. In spite of his age, He was simple and humble. He was easy to get along with, and very kind. He loved Jesus and was as excited about Him as anyone of us was who were much younger than he was. Like other workers of the ministry he was involved in deliverance ministrations. He often traveled with Dr. Ibeneme for outside ministrations. He also had a special love to minister the Holy Ghost baptism. He had great success in this area of ministry. I know it because I was a...

Dynamic Scriptures 10

By Revd 'Remi Tejumola Shalom! What you believe when you pray and afterwards matter. What you believe determines whether or not you ever get hold of what you desired of God. Whenever you pray and ask God for anything, God wants you to believe that you have recieved whatever it is you asked for. If you asked God for a cat, believe you have recieved the cat and you will get it. Notice He didn't say you should believe that God is going to bring it, but that you have received it, and you have it now by faith. This is when results come. But if after praying, and you didn't see any difference, you then say, 'I don't think my prayer is answered' , you have just aborted your own prayer. As soon as Jesus cursed the fig tree, He turned around and went His own way. He didn't bother to wait and see whether any change has occurred, "And Jesus answered and said unto it, No man eat fruit of thee hereafter for ever. And his disciples heard it" (Mark 11:14). You c...

Whatever Happened To Personal Evangelism

Dear Friend, Good day to you. I wish to pass on to you today a message I have had in my inbox for almost 3years now as a kind of reminder to our purpose as the body of Christ. It is an article by Lee Grady, the editor of Charisma Magazine . Please read. God bless. -Revd 'Remi Tejumola   Whatever Happened to Personal Evangelism? We are not anointed by the Holy Spirit simply to have visions or feel spiritual goose bumps. It's time for us to re-embrace soul-winning.   My heart sank two weeks ago when I heard that Dr. D. James Kennedy had died at age 76 of complications from an earlier heart attack. Knowing that Jerry Falwell died in May, and considering that Billy Graham is not in good health, I wondered who could possibly replace these stalwart Christian statesmen.   The congenial Kennedy, who usually wore an austere clerical robe when he preached on his popular television broadcast, founded Coral Ridge Presbyterian Church in Fort Lauderdale 48 years ago. Yet ...
