Faith Precision

By Revd 'Remi Tejumola The teaching of God's Word on the subject of faith cannot be overly emphasised. In fact, it's either been taught wrongly or not taught at all in many circles. This has served as a deficiency in the part of the body of Christ at several parts of the world. In Mark 11:22-24, let's see what Jesus said, "And Jesus answering saith unto them, Have faith in God. For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith. Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them" (Mark 11:22-24). The more you look into this Word, the more you will realise that you can get anything from God by faith - and I mean ANYTHING! However, this works by a principle: When you ask God for whateve...

You can be Healed Totally

By Revd 'Remi Tejumola This is God's Word: "Is any sick among you? let him call for the elders of the church; and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord: And the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up; and if he have committed sins, they shall be forgiven him" (James 5:14-15). The first notion I want to clear here is this: a lot of people always ask pastors to pray for them expecting that since they are pastors God will automatically answer their prayers. Wrong! Faith is needed to recieve answers to prayers i.e. the faith of the pastor as well as that of the needy. It is prayers offered in faith that obtain results, not prayer alone. Secondly, this scripture is the type that can be used to minister to a sick sinner who may or may not be a child of God. It shows that God is ready to heal and to forgive that person. Sin shouldn't serve as a hindrance. It does imply that the sinner must be ready to repent...

All Consuming Desire #5

By Revd 'Remi Tejumola Jesus Christ, our Lord and Saviour really gave us the definition of faith in Mark 11:23-24. He showed us exactly what we need to do. So everytime we take the faith stand, what we believe matters. We can't say after we've prayed the prayer of faith, "I am expecting such and such from God." To do that is to get out of faith which will abort our prayer. You must believe that you have recieved what you asked for in prayer WHEN YOU PRAY, and then it will manifest. But if you want to wait untill you see it manifest, you will never get to see it. This is where B.U.S.H. comes in. Believe you have recieved Untill Something Happens (untill it manifest). Once you believe you have recieved, stay put in that mode - regardless of how you feel or what you've not seen or felt. Just believe it's done for you already. That's what will cause the manifestation! Jesus said, "Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, ...

All Consuming Desire #4

By Revd 'Remi Tejumola Shalom! A desire is a strong wish to do or to have something, the Collins Dictionary defines. A desire is a strong wish to have something. This is very much the definition I want to talk about. A lot of believers, in an attempt to recieve things from God usually give up the moment it seems to them God has not answered. They may end up saying, Delay is not denial or, God will do it in His time. First, God never delays answer to prayers from His people. Secondly, God always give prompt attention to our prayers the MOMENT WE PRAY! And He answers immediately. But for things that we asked for to manifest, we must believe that we recieve WHEN WE PRAY! The question is, Since you have expressed your desire in prayer, is that desire the kind that is ready to take 'No' for an answer? If this is your attitude you will never get any of your prayers answered. You're not ready to recieve by faith. What you recieve by faith is what you will get to see in this li...

The All-Consuming Desire #3

By Revd 'Remi Tejumola Becoming friends with God must be a goal-oriented desire, something which we must work at to achieve. If not it will be just a pipe-dream, and it doesn't have to be that way. To become His friend, it must be desired by each individual child of God. And it is possible for all to become His friends. The word 'desire' means 'a strong wish to do something or have something', not a wishy-washing kind of thing. A real heart desire will not be satisfied with a 'No' for an answer to its pursuit. The truth is that God made it quite clear about the kind of attitude that is required from would be friends. He said, "And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart" (Jeremiah 29:13). Your whole heart must be involved in establishing this kind of relationship with God. Jesus had 12 disciples, 3 of them were closer to Him, but one of the 3 was closest, John who always sleep at His bosom. Each one of us...

The All-Consuming Desire #2

By Revd 'Remi Tejumola One of the most important truths about our lives as Christians is our relationship with God. He is our Father, and we are His children. But one important factor about this relationship is that we must make and establish a connection with Him all the time for things to work-out as they should in our lives. When the connection is made you will know it. It will be distinct so much so that you will know it in your heart. Romans 8:16 The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God: You will know the connection with God is made through the witness the Holy Spirit will give. You will have the assurance in your heart. This is so vital for you to understand. Let's cross-check some things right now which God has put in place for all His children: 1. He has washed us by the blood of Jesus and sanctified us unto Himself (Rev.1:4-5). 2. He has forgiven and justified us. The Bible says, "And such were some of you: but ye are wa...

The All-Consuming Desire #1

By Revd 'Remi Tejumola Achieving fellowship and intimacy with God is what a lot of believers who knows about it really desires. Many have prayed and fasted about it, but have not arrived at the desired haven. I will not condemn them because I have been in that same position before, like them, where I desire that someone who is really anointed will just come along and wave their hands over me so that it would just happen without too much effort required from me. But that's just where we miss it. God does require us to do something, and what He requires of us is not something that is difficult for us to do. In fact the provision God has already made available for us thru Jesus made it all the more easy to accomplish. As God's children, God has already placed the Holy Spirit within us, and we are to fellowship with Him. The Bible says, "... the communion of the Holy Ghost, be with you all. Amen" (2 Corinthians 13:14). It is God's will for everyone of us, His chi...

God Wants You Well

By Revd 'Remi Tejumola God is seriously concerned about your total well-being. In addition to the fact that He declared in Exodus 15:26, "I am the Lord that healeth thee" , He has made several means of receiving it available to us, and in fact made a solid provision of it thru the stripes on Christ's back. The Bible says, "When the even was come, they brought unto him many that were possessed with devils: and he cast out the spirits with his word, and healed all that were sick: That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Esaias the prophet, saying, Himself took our infirmities, and bare our sicknesses" (Matthew 8:16-17). Now I want to show some of the truths you need to know about this: 1. Through the gifts of the Spirit God provided the gifts of healing to heal all diseases, " ... to some, gifts of healing" (1 Corinthians 12:9-10). 2. Through the Great Commission He provided another means to receive healing: "You shall lay hands on the ...

The Power of God #4

By Revd 'Remi Tejumola Shalom! May you know this new month for good in Jesus name! We celebrated easter just a week ago, and I really had a nice time ministering about the purpose of Jesus death and resurrection in those services in Lagos. Read this, "And when Jesus had cried with a loud voice, he said, Father, into thy hands I commend my spirit: and having said thus, he gave up the ghost" (Luke 23:46). The fact that Jesus died and rose again from the dead proves that God wants you totally well. His power, by the Holy Spirit, is available to ensure that you recieve everything Jesus provided for us thru His sufferings. You can now recieve forgiveness of sins, deliverance from demonic bondage and oppressions, healing for your physical bodies, prosperity and many other things freely. When God sees a person wallowing in sin, He wants him forgiven and free from it, when He sees him sick He wants him healed, and when He sees him in bondage, He wants him delivered. God is inter...

The Power of God #3

Revd 'Remi Tejumola God's power is always available wherever a child of God is, most especially if he's been baptized in the Holy Spirit. The power of God is with him. If you are a Spirit-filled Christian, this is true about you. It is available for your use mainly in the service of God. The Prophet, Ezekiel, saw a vision of a valley filled with dry bones. God asked him, "Son of man, can these bones live?" to which he replied, "O Lord God, thou knoweth" (Ezekiel 37:3). Eventually, God used him to bring those dry bones to life. It was an exceeding great army. Question : Could God have done such a thing physically if He wanted to? Is He capable, or, is such a feat beyond what you think God could do? I want you to undertand that God can do anything, including bringing dry bones to life. You need to believe like this as a Christian. You need to be fully convinced that God can do anything. (Not only that.) Understand this: God is more than willing to do for...

The Power of God #2

By Revd 'Remi Tejumola Each time when we take the step of faith what we want is for the power of God to manifest on our behalf to provide something for us, heal us and fill us up with the Holy Spirit to overflowing. But in attempting to take the faith stand many have taken it wrongly and it hasn't work. Observe what Jesus said to do closely: "Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them" (Mark 11:24). In attempting to do what Jesus said, many have taken the step of believing that God is going to do it or He's busy working on it, after Jesus had clearly instructed us to BELIEVE THAT WE RECIEVE THEM, WHEN WE PRAY. It's like what the Apostle Paul said in the book of Romans, Call things which be not as though they were , in faith, so that they will become exactly that. When you're believing for the healing of your physical body, you must believe that God has healed you even when you...

The Power of God #1

By Revd 'Remi Tejumola Shalom! The power of God is real. You have to witness it to know what I'm talking about. If all you know about it is what the Bible says about it, then it's good for a start. But wait untill you actually witness it, then you will have a completely different and deep idea about it. Consider this: Exodus 14:21-22 21 And Moses stretched out his hand over the sea; and the LORD caused the sea to go back by a strong east wind all that night, and made the sea dry land, and the waters were divided. 22 And the children of Israel went into the midst of the sea upon the dry ground: and the waters were a wall unto them on their right hand, and on their left. Untill you actually experience this kind of manifestation of the power of God, all you have is a head knowledge or theory. What I want to say is this, just as it was with Prophet Moses, the power of God in us can affect natural things around us as we've just read from Exodus. The separation of the red se...

Ministry of John, the Baptist

By Revd 'Remi Tejumola Shalom! Happy New Year to you. May this year be so filled with all goodness that will cause your life to appreciate and develop in Jesus' name. Amen. So many people believed that John the Baptist did not have a supernatural ministry. So they used him as an example of a minister whose ministry did not have accompany signs and wonders like that of Jesus. How wrong they are. First, the conception of John was supernatural. Prayer brought him. The Bible records, "But the angel said unto him, Fear not, Zacharias: for thy prayer is heard; and thy wife Elisabeth shall bear thee a son, and thou shalt call his name John" (Luke 1:13). Secondly, just as the angel said, he was filled with the Holy Spirit from his mother's womb (Jesus wasn't): The Angel said, "... he shall be filled with the Holy Ghost, even from his mother's womb" (Luke 1:15). Third, when his ministry began, it affected so many peoples' lives that multitudes troop...

The Divine Process

By Revd 'Remi Tejumola "And now, let the weak say, 'I'm strong'. Let the poor say, 'I am rich', because of what the Lord has done. Give thanks" - Don Moen The process of all that Jesus did on our behalf began when God promised in Genesis 3 that the seed of the woman will bruise the head of the serpent. The process became very important when God provided the 10 Commandments thru Moses to lead us unto Christ. The process continued when Jesus was conceived in the womb of virgin Mary by the power of the Holy Ghost. The process continued when the only begotten Son of God was born. The process continued when He began to spend time in the Synagogue studying the Word with the Pharisees. The process continued when He got baptized in water under the ministry of John the baptist, and as He came out of the water and there the Holy Ghost alighted on Him. The process continued as He began to go about doing good, healing all that were oppressed by the devil. The pr...

The Healing Presence #4

By Revd 'Remi Tejumola Taking a close look at our main text in this series of lessons, as I said in one of the lessons, there's a lot of things to share about the Holy Spirit in it. The Bible says, "But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you" (Romans 8:11). I want to open up your mind to an important and startling realisation, and that is: the Holy Spirit can accomplish a lot of astonishing things in your life. The Holy Spirit's power is flowing thru your body, and it can accomplish a lot of things. For instance, see what He did with Evangelist Phillip in the desert, "And when they were come up out of the water, the Spirit of the Lord caught away Philip, that the eunuch saw him no more: and he went on his way rejoicing" (Acts 8:39). The Holy Spirit made him to dematerialise in the desert (right before the Ethiop...

The Healing Presence #3

Revd 'Remi Tejumola Romans 8:11 11 But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you. There are a lot of truths embedded in this one verse, and I am not about to unveil all of them in this series of lessons. Just have this Word in mind, from the lips of Jesus, "And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free" (John 8:32). The condition in our main text (Romans 8:11) is predicated upon the dwelling presence of the Holy Spirit in the born-again Christian's life. In some measure, the power of the indwelling Spirit is pulsating thru the veins of every child of God, whether or not he realises it. God, our Father, by the Holy Spirit, is quickening or injecting life into our physical body. We need to be aware of this. In 1979, at a Kenneth Copeland's meeting, as Dr. Kenneth E. Hagin was preaching, his photographer took a...

The Healing Presence #2

By Revd 'Remi Tejumola Shalom! The Bible, in this verse of scripture, talks about the heavenly Father, the Lord Jesus and the Holy Spirit in definite terms. See, "But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you" (Romans 8:11). It was the Father who sent the Holy Spirit to raise Jesus back from the dead. The Father is the same One who will quicken your mortal body through the Spirit if He is dwelling in you. Please do recognise this important truth. The Almighty Father cares for you and He desires that every single thing be alright in your life - everything. He initiated the resurrection of Jesus and it's also His responsibility to initiate the healing of your body. The Father gives the go-ahead, the Holy Spirit energize your body and make it full of life. The only condition that must be fulfilled is if the Holy Spirit is living in ...

The Healing Presence #1

By Revd 'Remi Tejumola Shalom! There is a healing provision that God has made available for the individual believer in Christ to be healed. Yes, primarily, Jesus provided healing for every sickness and disease through the stripes on His back. This healing is also exceptionally made available through the indwelling presence of the Holy Spirit. The Bible puts it this way: Romans 8:11 11 But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you. The Bible says here that if the Holy Spirit is in you, the Father God will quicken or make full of life your physical body. The only condition is if He is in there, in you. Some people have another spirit in them other than the One who raised Jesus from the dead. But if you have the real One, healing is available for your physical body. It is the will of God for your body to be healed through the Holy Spirit who live...

The Prayer of Faith #6

By Revd 'Remi Tejumola The Bible says, "Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof" (Proverbs 18:21). Notice that the Bible didn't say death and life are in the tongue of the prophet or the witch-doctor or God. No, it didn't say so. Simply put, death and life are in YOUR MOUTH. Everytime you open your mouth to talk, you are either speaking life or death into your own life and circumstance. In the same vein, whatever you say, from the time you pray, affects your prayer. It either infuse life into it and cause it to come into manifestation or suck life out of it. Faith is a lifestyle, not just something for prayer time. You have to call things that be not as though they were, in faith, in order for them to become the things you really desire to have. Please go over this scripture once again: "Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall hav...

The Prayer of Faith #5

By Revd 'Remi Tejumola Shalom! Jesus said, "Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them" (Mark 11:24). This Word can be easily understood because it's not complicated at all, just simple. In attempting to act on this Word, people have asked, When I am standing in faith, how long do I have to wait for what I asked for? Good question. A lot depends on how much faith you really have in God. You see, if you have an iota of doubt, it will hinder you from receiving anything from God. Can you trust God to carry out His own end of the deal after you've done yours? Yours is to believe you receive exactly what you asked for, His is to make it happen because you believe. Now here is an aspect you must be careful about. The Bible says, "Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone. Yea, a man may say, Thou hast faith, and I have works: shew me thy faith without thy works, and I ...
