Shalom! Jesus said, "Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them" (Mark 11:24). This Word can be easily understood because it's not complicated at all, just simple.
In attempting to act on this Word, people have asked, When I am standing in faith, how long do I have to wait for what I asked for? Good question.
A lot depends on how much faith you really have in God. You see, if you have an iota of doubt, it will hinder you from receiving anything from God. Can you trust God to carry out His own end of the deal after you've done yours? Yours is to believe you receive exactly what you asked for, His is to make it happen because you believe.
Now here is an aspect you must be careful about. The Bible says, "Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone. Yea, a man may say, Thou hast faith, and I have works: shew me thy faith without thy works, and I will shew thee my faith by my works" (James 2:17-18).
Works in this context means 'corresponding action'. Your faith must have corresponding action associated with it. Every word you speak, and every one of your actions must show you really believe the way Jesus said we must believe to get results: "believe that you receive them" and you shall have them.
Till next posting, God bless.
