The Power of God #2

By Revd 'Remi Tejumola

Each time when we take the step of faith what we want is for the power of God to manifest on our behalf to provide something for us, heal us and fill us up with the Holy Spirit to overflowing. But in attempting to take the faith stand many have taken it wrongly and it hasn't work.

Observe what Jesus said to do closely: "Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them" (Mark 11:24).

In attempting to do what Jesus said, many have taken the step of believing that God is going to do it or He's busy working on it, after Jesus had clearly instructed us to BELIEVE THAT WE RECIEVE THEM, WHEN WE PRAY.

It's like what the Apostle Paul said in the book of Romans, Call things which be not as though they were, in faith, so that they will become exactly that.

When you're believing for the healing of your physical body, you must believe that God has healed you even when you still feel sick. You must believe THAT God has healed you, not working on it. The moment you pray about it is when you are to believe that you have recieved it, and it shall be so to you.

Things happen and people get sick with terrible diseases, and as a result people die. But it does not have to be so for you. God's power is at your disposal to use in overcoming the sicknesses and diseases. You just have to learn how to use your faith to wield the power. There's no sickness or disease you can't overcome. Jesus says, "If you ask anything in my name, I will do it" (John 14:14). You can tell sickness and disease exactly what you want them to do in Jesus name and it will be done. Eg, "Sickness, I command you to die out of my body right now, in the name of Jesus!" and it will obey you. You can get rid of any disease this way.

Till next posting, God bless.

A Soldier Gone To Headquaters

By Revd 'Remi Tejumola Shalom! A senior friend just went home to be with the Lord, PASTOR PATRICK EZEKUDE OBAZE. He was aged 78 years old. I got to know him in 1985 after I became a part of the Faith Clinic which was founded by Rev. (Dr.) I.K.U. Ibeneme of blessed memory. Uncle 'Bobo' Obaze, as was fondly called by Dr. Ibeneme, was one of the numerous workers that the Faith Clinic had in those days in the mid-80s. All the workers came from different churches and ministries, and were of various ages and giftings. In spite of his age, He was simple and humble. He was easy to get along with, and very kind. He loved Jesus and was as excited about Him as anyone of us was who were much younger than he was. Like other workers of the ministry he was involved in deliverance ministrations. He often traveled with Dr. Ibeneme for outside ministrations. He also had a special love to minister the Holy Ghost baptism. He had great success in this area of ministry. I know it because I was a...

Re-visiting Faith #5

By Revd 'Remi Tejumola Shalom! One can spend a whole lifetime studying the subject of faith and one will continue to learn so many sides that are involved therein. Let's look at our main text again: Hebrews 11: 6 6 But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him. Diligence is an attribute and attitude of faith. There is a kind of seriousness that is attached to the Bible kind of faith which is why God demands diligence in the seeker. The dictionary defines the word "diligence" as "careful and conscientious" and the word "careful" as "paying close attention". The word "conscientious" is defined "been diligent with one's work" . I don't think this can be overly emphasised since it is the very basis and fabric of our relationship with the Most High God. You can just imagine why this faith business ...

All Consuming Desire #5

By Revd 'Remi Tejumola Jesus Christ, our Lord and Saviour really gave us the definition of faith in Mark 11:23-24. He showed us exactly what we need to do. So everytime we take the faith stand, what we believe matters. We can't say after we've prayed the prayer of faith, "I am expecting such and such from God." To do that is to get out of faith which will abort our prayer. You must believe that you have recieved what you asked for in prayer WHEN YOU PRAY, and then it will manifest. But if you want to wait untill you see it manifest, you will never get to see it. This is where B.U.S.H. comes in. Believe you have recieved Untill Something Happens (untill it manifest). Once you believe you have recieved, stay put in that mode - regardless of how you feel or what you've not seen or felt. Just believe it's done for you already. That's what will cause the manifestation! Jesus said, "Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, ...
