God Wants You Well

God is seriously concerned about your total well-being. In addition to the fact that He declared in Exodus 15:26, "I am the Lord that healeth thee", He has made several means of receiving it available to us, and in fact made a solid provision of it thru the stripes on Christ's back. The Bible says, "When the even was come, they brought unto him many that were possessed with devils: and he cast out the spirits with his word, and healed all that were sick: That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Esaias the prophet, saying, Himself took our infirmities, and bare our sicknesses" (Matthew 8:16-17).



Now I want to show some of the truths you need to know about this:



1. Through the gifts of the Spirit God provided the gifts of healing to heal all diseases, " ... to some, gifts of healing" (1 Corinthians 12:9-10).



2. Through the Great Commission He provided another means to receive healing: "You shall lay hands on the sick and they shall recover" (Mark 16:18). People can receive healing through bonafide born-again Christians and ministers of the Gospel.



3. People can receive healing through the prayer of faith and anointing with oil, "Is any sick among you? let him call for the elders of the church; and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord: And the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up; and if he have committed sins, they shall be forgiven him" (Mark 11:24, James 5:14-15).



4. You can receive through your faith in Christ's provision, "By whose stripes ye were healed" (1 Peter 2:24).


5. Another way through which God has provided healing for us is through the indwelling presence of the Holy Spirit, "But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you" (Romans 8:11). The Holy Spirit will quicken (make full of life) your physical body because He lives in there.



It's for sure that God wants you well. He is a healer and He has made every provision available in order to make sure you receive your healing.



Take advantage of God's wonderful provisions for you today. They are yours for the taking.

Hope expects and faith recieves. One of hope's definition is 'eager yearning'. Hope dreams and will keep you smiling, but achieve nothing more than that. Hope is a picture of the things you want to have. Faith, on the other hand, does not expect anything. It is a reciever. Faith takes the unrealities of hope and brings them into the realm of reality. "Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen" (Hebrews 11: 1). It's just as if hope has been there waiting and achieving nothing untill faith arrived and grabbed hope and bring into reality what hope dreamt about. Now listen up, faith doesn't just come. The Holy Spirit Moves 6

By Revd 'Remi Tejumola Shalom! The faith realm is God's realm. It is Jesus realm, and it is the realm of the Holy Spirit. Even all believers in Jesus Christ belongs in that realm. If you are a born-again Christian, this is your realm. You're a creature of faith. 1 John 5: 4 For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith. I want you to understand that victory is always attached to faith. When you get into faith you have entered into the realm of victory in whatever area it is where you're standing on God's Word. The realm of faith is filled with unlimited possibilities. If you come to think of it, you will realize that every step into faith is a step into divine creativity. The Holy Spirit Moves 4

By Revd 'Remi Tejumola Shalom! The works of the Holy Spirit varies, no one knows it all. But it's so exciting when one finds out about them. I was part of the Faith Clinic team that travelled with Dr. I. K. U. Ibeneme to minister at a campmeeting, December 1985. It was a deliverance session with the church on the outskirt of Lagos State. Our method of ministry was to ask individuals what problem they have, and we minister accordingly. After I had prayed with several people, it came to the turn of a brother. I went thru the normal process of our ministration and he stuttered and said, 'I am a stammerer'. I was flabbergasted because at that moment I didn't know what to do. But I just said, 'In Jesus' name, I plead the blood. Be healed!' and I took off to another place. During the testimony time, the brother said in very clear words, 'You know me. . . ' and the place became wild with excitement and shouts of 'Hallelujah!' rended the air!...
