Faith's Place

Shalom! God's face always shine with pleasure when He finds people who took Him at His Word - those who live by faith.

Hebrews 11: 5-6
5 By faith Enoch was translated that he should not see death; and was not found, because God had translated him: for before his translation he had this testimony, that he pleased God.
6 But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.

God is always excited when His people exercises faith in Him by taking Him at His Word. During Jesus earthly ministry, He displayed His joy each time He found such people:

Luke 7: 7-9
7 Wherefore neither thought I myself worthy to come unto thee: but say in a word, and my servant shall be healed.
8 For I also am a man set under authority, having under me soldiers, and I say unto one, Go, and he goeth; and to another, Come, and he cometh; and to my servant, Do this, and he doeth it.
9 When Jesus heard these things, he marvelled at him, and turned him about, and said unto the people that followed him, I say unto you, I have not found so great faith, no, not in Israel.

Whenever anyone exercise faith in the Word of God as Jesus taught us in the Bible, God is always moved to perform His Word as promised. He will make sure the person gets exactly what he asked for without fail. The catalyst for miracles is our faith. Having faith in God means that we trust Him to deliver on His promises to us. Doubt and unbelief in us means that we don't trust God and calls Him a liar. But our God is righteous and will not lie. He is faithful to His promises. If He promised anything, He will fulfill it. Dynamic Scriptures 10

By Revd 'Remi Tejumola Shalom! What you believe when you pray and afterwards matter. What you believe determines whether or not you ever get hold of what you desired of God. Whenever you pray and ask God for anything, God wants you to believe that you have recieved whatever it is you asked for. If you asked God for a cat, believe you have recieved the cat and you will get it. Notice He didn't say you should believe that God is going to bring it, but that you have received it, and you have it now by faith. This is when results come. But if after praying, and you didn't see any difference, you then say, 'I don't think my prayer is answered' , you have just aborted your own prayer. As soon as Jesus cursed the fig tree, He turned around and went His own way. He didn't bother to wait and see whether any change has occurred, "And Jesus answered and said unto it, No man eat fruit of thee hereafter for ever. And his disciples heard it" (Mark 11:14). You c...

God can use any believer in Christ to do these things and more. In fact Jesus puts it this way: John 14: 12-14 12 ¶ Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father. 13 And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. 14 If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it. Sometime, some people left the impression that the things that God used them to do is exclusive to them , but that is not really true.
