The Power of God #3

Revd 'Remi Tejumola

God's power is always available wherever a child of God is, most especially if he's been baptized in the Holy Spirit. The power of God is with him. If you are a Spirit-filled Christian, this is true about you. It is available for your use mainly in the service of God.

The Prophet, Ezekiel, saw a vision of a valley filled with dry bones. God asked him, "Son of man, can these bones live?" to which he replied, "O Lord God, thou knoweth" (Ezekiel 37:3). Eventually, God used him to bring those dry bones to life. It was an exceeding great army.

Question: Could God have done such a thing physically if He wanted to? Is He capable, or, is such a feat beyond what you think God could do?

I want you to undertand that God can do anything, including bringing dry bones to life. You need to believe like this as a Christian. You need to be fully convinced that God can do anything. (Not only that.) Understand this: God is more than willing to do for you, and through you, anything you are ready to believe Him for.

Don't be scared about this because what I said is true. That's why He gave us all those precious promises. God watches over His Word to perform it.

It doesn't really matter whether or not you are a young Christian. Believing that God is able to do anything will serve as a great boost to the things He desires to do through your life. Angel Gabriel said, "For with God nothing shall be impossible" (Luke 1:37).

I have no idea of the kind of physical ailment you're faced with, but I know that God has all it takes to take care of it. Do you believe this? I know you should. The next post will really be interesting to you.

Till next posting, God bless.

A Soldier Gone To Headquaters

By Revd 'Remi Tejumola Shalom! A senior friend just went home to be with the Lord, PASTOR PATRICK EZEKUDE OBAZE. He was aged 78 years old. I got to know him in 1985 after I became a part of the Faith Clinic which was founded by Rev. (Dr.) I.K.U. Ibeneme of blessed memory. Uncle 'Bobo' Obaze, as was fondly called by Dr. Ibeneme, was one of the numerous workers that the Faith Clinic had in those days in the mid-80s. All the workers came from different churches and ministries, and were of various ages and giftings. In spite of his age, He was simple and humble. He was easy to get along with, and very kind. He loved Jesus and was as excited about Him as anyone of us was who were much younger than he was. Like other workers of the ministry he was involved in deliverance ministrations. He often traveled with Dr. Ibeneme for outside ministrations. He also had a special love to minister the Holy Ghost baptism. He had great success in this area of ministry. I know it because I was a...

The Holy Spirit Moves 4

By Revd 'Remi Tejumola Shalom! The works of the Holy Spirit varies, no one knows it all. But it's so exciting when one finds out about them. I was part of the Faith Clinic team that travelled with Dr. I. K. U. Ibeneme to minister at a campmeeting, December 1985. It was a deliverance session with the church on the outskirt of Lagos State. Our method of ministry was to ask individuals what problem they have, and we minister accordingly. After I had prayed with several people, it came to the turn of a brother. I went thru the normal process of our ministration and he stuttered and said, 'I am a stammerer'. I was flabbergasted because at that moment I didn't know what to do. But I just said, 'In Jesus' name, I plead the blood. Be healed!' and I took off to another place. During the testimony time, the brother said in very clear words, 'You know me. . . ' and the place became wild with excitement and shouts of 'Hallelujah!' rended the air!...

Faith and the Will of God

By Revd 'Remi Tejumola Shalom! Where exactly in the prayer of faith can we find the will of God? The will of God means what GOD expects, requires and demands, to be done by you. Paul said in his epistle to the Hebrew Christians, "... ye have need of patience, that, after ye have done the will of God, ye might receive the promise" (Hebrews 10:36). It is after you've done the will of God that YOU will experience the fulfillment of the promise. The will of God for you when using Mark 11: 24 is that part where Jesus said, "... when ye pray, believe that you recieve them ..." . Once you miss this part, you would have wasted your time and prayer. The will of God in this verse deals with, 1. The time of your prayer WHEN YOU PRAY, and, 2. What you believe when YOU PRAY. The other important thing about your prayer life that goes with the matter of the will of God has to do with your life. You must be a person of godly character. You must fear God and treat other peo...
