No Limits (Part Two)

by Revd 'Remi Tejumola

Mark 11:22-24
22 And Jesus answering saith unto them, Have faith in God.
23 For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.
24 Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.

According to our Lord Jesus, the act and the expression of our faith is to be towards God Who is more than able to meet all of our needs and give us all that we desire to have. This Word that He spoke in our text was His response to the amazed statement made by Peter, 'The tree that You cursed yesterday has dried up from the roots!' Jesus response meant that, "I accomplished this simple feat just because I have faith in God, and you too can accomplish the same by having faith in God."

Here's what the Bible has to say about God's ability: "Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us" (Ephesians 3:20). God made everything in existence by His power, so there's nothing that He cannot do for you. It should interest you to know that God is interested in meeting all your needs.

The Apostle Paul said, "But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus" (Philippians 4:19). God spoke through Prophet Jeremiah these words, "Behold, I am the LORD, the God of all flesh: is there any thing too hard for me?" (Jeremiah 32:27).

Jesus told us, "Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed?  (For after all these things do the Gentiles seek: for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things" (Matthew 6:31-32). Those who have doubted that God may not answer their prayers because they thought their prayers might not be according to His will really need to get deeper into His Word in order to clear their doubts. Jesus said, "for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things." God knows that you need these things!

What things? God knows that if you are homeless you need a home. If you do not have food, He knows you need it. He knows you need money; He knows you need healing when you're sick; He knows that you need children if you've been barren; He knows that you need a job if you have no job; He knows that you need rain on your farm if you have been experiencing drought. He knows that you need shoes and clothes. He knows that you need vehicles. He knows that a person with a broken legs needs prosthesis or a miraculous provision of new legs through the creative power of the Almighty God. HE KNOWS ALL THE NEEDS IN OUR LIVES AND HAS ADDRESSED THEM ALL IN CHRIST JESUS!

So, you can name what things soever ye desire! Paul said, "My God shall SUPPLY ALL YOUR NEED - not a few, not some - ALL YOUR NEED! I know of people - women who had problems with their wombs and God gave them brand new wombs to replace the bad ones because it is His will! Again let's hear God's question to Jeremiah, "Behold, I am the LORD, the God of all flesh: is there any thing too hard for me?" (Jeremiah 32:27).

God knew that Adam needed a wife and provided him one - He gave Adam Eve! God went through a wonderful process to provide him the wife.

Jesus told us, "And all things, whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive" (Matthew 21:22). Do not follow the things people told you. Follow only what the Bible tells you and you will be able to receive from God whatever you want and need from Him. God does not depend on what you have in order to provide you with the things you need. He depends on His own power, He depends on His own riches in glory!

Till next posting remain blessed!

A Soldier Gone To Headquaters

By Revd 'Remi Tejumola Shalom! A senior friend just went home to be with the Lord, PASTOR PATRICK EZEKUDE OBAZE. He was aged 78 years old. I got to know him in 1985 after I became a part of the Faith Clinic which was founded by Rev. (Dr.) I.K.U. Ibeneme of blessed memory. Uncle 'Bobo' Obaze, as was fondly called by Dr. Ibeneme, was one of the numerous workers that the Faith Clinic had in those days in the mid-80s. All the workers came from different churches and ministries, and were of various ages and giftings. In spite of his age, He was simple and humble. He was easy to get along with, and very kind. He loved Jesus and was as excited about Him as anyone of us was who were much younger than he was. Like other workers of the ministry he was involved in deliverance ministrations. He often traveled with Dr. Ibeneme for outside ministrations. He also had a special love to minister the Holy Ghost baptism. He had great success in this area of ministry. I know it because I was a...

The Holy Spirit Moves 4

By Revd 'Remi Tejumola Shalom! The works of the Holy Spirit varies, no one knows it all. But it's so exciting when one finds out about them. I was part of the Faith Clinic team that travelled with Dr. I. K. U. Ibeneme to minister at a campmeeting, December 1985. It was a deliverance session with the church on the outskirt of Lagos State. Our method of ministry was to ask individuals what problem they have, and we minister accordingly. After I had prayed with several people, it came to the turn of a brother. I went thru the normal process of our ministration and he stuttered and said, 'I am a stammerer'. I was flabbergasted because at that moment I didn't know what to do. But I just said, 'In Jesus' name, I plead the blood. Be healed!' and I took off to another place. During the testimony time, the brother said in very clear words, 'You know me. . . ' and the place became wild with excitement and shouts of 'Hallelujah!' rended the air!...

Faith and the Will of God

By Revd 'Remi Tejumola Shalom! Where exactly in the prayer of faith can we find the will of God? The will of God means what GOD expects, requires and demands, to be done by you. Paul said in his epistle to the Hebrew Christians, "... ye have need of patience, that, after ye have done the will of God, ye might receive the promise" (Hebrews 10:36). It is after you've done the will of God that YOU will experience the fulfillment of the promise. The will of God for you when using Mark 11: 24 is that part where Jesus said, "... when ye pray, believe that you recieve them ..." . Once you miss this part, you would have wasted your time and prayer. The will of God in this verse deals with, 1. The time of your prayer WHEN YOU PRAY, and, 2. What you believe when YOU PRAY. The other important thing about your prayer life that goes with the matter of the will of God has to do with your life. You must be a person of godly character. You must fear God and treat other peo...
