Divine Guidance

God guides... "He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake." (Psalms 23:3).

When He restores your soul, His divine guidance will manifest in your life. This is talking about the New Creation reality which is only possible through the encounter of a changed life by the work of the Holy Spirit in regeneration when a sinner repents and accepts Jesus Christ as Saviour and Lord.

The Apostle Paul said in:

Romans 8:14-17 
14 For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.
15 For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father.
16 The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God:
17 And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together.

There is that crucial guidance we always need in all facets of life; that when we have it, it will make all the difference in our lives where true success IS. If you want it, you can have it in your life, beginning from today!

Hope, And Then Have Faith in God!

By Revd 'Remi Tejumola Shalom! There is a clear difference between hope and faith. Hope cannot achieve anything without faith, and faith has nothing to recieve without hope. Hope expects and faith recieves. One of hope's definition is 'eager yearning'. Hope dreams and will keep you smiling, but achieve nothing more than that. Hope is a picture of the things you want to have. Faith, on the other hand, does not expect anything. It is a reciever. Faith takes the unrealities of hope and brings them into the realm of reality. "Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen" (Hebrews 11: 1). It's just as if hope has been there waiting and achieving nothing untill faith arrived and grabbed hope and bring into reality what hope dreamt about. Now listen up, faith doesn't just come. Whether you realise it or not, you are influenced and your life is directed in the direction of the kind of mindset that you have, which is largely influenced by the kind of knowledge that you have. What you know and what you're ignorant of affect your life. The kind of Pastor you listen to, and the kind of church you attend affects you. The kind of books, tapes, videos and the kind of friends you keep affects your life. Make no mistake about it, you are what you eat.
