The Apocalypse: It's not the end yet!

By Revd 'Remi Tejumola

Hi, Friend, a wonderful day to you. I've just returned from exciting times in the Port Harcourt Holy Ghost Meeting with the Christ Chapel International Churches, Emekuku street, D-Line area. The theme of the programme was The Overshadowing Presence. God manifested His presence in wonderful ways. There were a lot of healings and miracles. There was joy in every heart, one young man surrendered his life to Jesus for the first time with tears in his eyes. The worship in the service led by the levites and the special song ministration from Juliette and her husband (a saxophonist) initiated the manifestation of the presence of the Holy Ghost. It was a great time we had in His presence.

My next meeting is going to take place in Christ Chapel International Churches, Isolo Centre, Isolo, Lagos state on Sunday the 7th of June 2009 by 9:00am. Then in Two weeks' time, I will be with the Tower of Grace Victory Church, House 12, Road 221, off 22 road, Gwarinpa Estate, Abuja (FCT) 24th-28th June 2009. It is a Holy Ghost Invasion Programme. If you can make these meetings, be there.

The Apocalypse: It's Not the End Yet

There are a lot of terrible things happening around the world right now has increased people's fears all over the earth: floods, wars, earthquakes, tornadoes, oppressions and so many other things. Yet, I want you to know that it's not the end of world yet. All these are signs of the end. God isn't the cause of all these terrible happenings, don't let anyone decieve you. But you should know that evil has grown to this level that's why God has His own programme to change the course of the present world, and to bring newness to life as we know it. The last great sign of the endtimes is that the Gospel of the Kingdom of God must be preached as a witness to all Nations, then the end would come. That Gospel is about the programme of the salvation of all of mankind through faith in the Son of God, Jesus Christ.

This world as you know it will not be destroyed until at least 1000 years after this time. But between this time and the beginning of that coming millenium, some most important events in the history of this world and mankind will take place. To get the full gist of these upcoming events, get yourself into Bible believing and preaching churches and you will be told how you are to prepare yourself to meet your God!

Jesus Christ foretold a lot of these upcoming events. I will give you an excerpt from the Gospel according to St. Matthew:

Matthew 24: 1-14
1 ¶ And Jesus went out, and departed from the temple: and his disciples came to him for to shew him the buildings of the temple.
2 And Jesus said unto them, See ye not all these things? verily I say unto you, There shall not be left here one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down.
3 And as he sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world?
4 ¶ And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you.
5 For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many.
6 And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet.
7 For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places.
8 All these are the beginning of sorrows.
9 Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name's sake.
10 And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another.
11 And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many.
12 And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold.
13 But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.
14 And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.

All the global warming things you have been hearing about is just another pointer to some of the things that will take place in the next, at least, one thousand years.

In 2 Peter 3, the apostle Peter said some things I want you to take note of.

2 Peter 3: 1-14
1 ¶ This second epistle, beloved, I now write unto you; in both which I stir up your pure minds by way of remembrance:
2 That ye may be mindful of the words which were spoken before by the holy prophets, and of the commandment of us the apostles of the Lord and Saviour:
3 ¶ Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts,
4 And saying, Where is the promise of his coming? for since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation.
5 For this they willingly are ignorant of, that by the word of God the heavens were of old, and the earth standing out of the water and in the water:
6 Whereby the world that then was, being overflowed with water, perished:
7 But the heavens and the earth, which are now, by the same word are kept in store, reserved unto fire against the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men.
8 ¶ But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.
9 ¶ The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.
10 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.
11 ¶ Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness,
12 Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat?
13 Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness.
14 Wherefore, beloved, seeing that ye look for such things, be diligent that ye may be found of him in peace, without spot, and blameless.

Well, I don't really need to explain to you the things you've just read. Just be conscious of these things. Till next time, God bless you.

A Soldier Gone To Headquaters

By Revd 'Remi Tejumola Shalom! A senior friend just went home to be with the Lord, PASTOR PATRICK EZEKUDE OBAZE. He was aged 78 years old. I got to know him in 1985 after I became a part of the Faith Clinic which was founded by Rev. (Dr.) I.K.U. Ibeneme of blessed memory. Uncle 'Bobo' Obaze, as was fondly called by Dr. Ibeneme, was one of the numerous workers that the Faith Clinic had in those days in the mid-80s. All the workers came from different churches and ministries, and were of various ages and giftings. In spite of his age, He was simple and humble. He was easy to get along with, and very kind. He loved Jesus and was as excited about Him as anyone of us was who were much younger than he was. Like other workers of the ministry he was involved in deliverance ministrations. He often traveled with Dr. Ibeneme for outside ministrations. He also had a special love to minister the Holy Ghost baptism. He had great success in this area of ministry. I know it because I was a...

Re-visiting Faith #5

By Revd 'Remi Tejumola Shalom! One can spend a whole lifetime studying the subject of faith and one will continue to learn so many sides that are involved therein. Let's look at our main text again: Hebrews 11: 6 6 But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him. Diligence is an attribute and attitude of faith. There is a kind of seriousness that is attached to the Bible kind of faith which is why God demands diligence in the seeker. The dictionary defines the word "diligence" as "careful and conscientious" and the word "careful" as "paying close attention". The word "conscientious" is defined "been diligent with one's work" . I don't think this can be overly emphasised since it is the very basis and fabric of our relationship with the Most High God. You can just imagine why this faith business ...

All Consuming Desire #5

By Revd 'Remi Tejumola Jesus Christ, our Lord and Saviour really gave us the definition of faith in Mark 11:23-24. He showed us exactly what we need to do. So everytime we take the faith stand, what we believe matters. We can't say after we've prayed the prayer of faith, "I am expecting such and such from God." To do that is to get out of faith which will abort our prayer. You must believe that you have recieved what you asked for in prayer WHEN YOU PRAY, and then it will manifest. But if you want to wait untill you see it manifest, you will never get to see it. This is where B.U.S.H. comes in. Believe you have recieved Untill Something Happens (untill it manifest). Once you believe you have recieved, stay put in that mode - regardless of how you feel or what you've not seen or felt. Just believe it's done for you already. That's what will cause the manifestation! Jesus said, "Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, ...
