The Blood of Jesus

By Revd 'Remi Tejumola

The precious blood of Jesus, which He shed on the cross at Calvary, got us redemption from sin and its consequences. I'm talking about the blood of the Son of the Almighty God.

The blood of animals were acceptable for the atonement of men's sins under the Old Covenant, at least once a year. It was part of the statutes of the Law then.

Leviticus 17: 11
11 For the life of the flesh is in the blood . . . for it is the blood that maketh an atonement for the soul.

Under the Old Covenant the blood of animals cover men's sins for a year. Under the New Covenant, the blood of the Son of God remit our sins - blotted them out of existence. Nothing else can do that.

It may seem as if forgiveness of sins just require repentance from sin. If it were so Jesus blood would not need to be shed. But it's not cheap at all. The blood of the Son of God had to be shed to have it. It was by the blood of Jesus that satan was defeated. That's why he cannot stand the sight of His blood.

Today, in Jesus name, I plead the blood of the Son of God, Jesus Christ over you and all that concerns you. I pray that you will recieve the full benefits that is in His blood, all round.

1 Peter 1: 18-19
18 Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers;
19 But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot.

Blood of animals are corruptible, but Jesus blood is incorruptible. There is no other kind of sacrifice of blood valid before God since Jesus blood was shed. Today, the blood of animals and human blood are unacceptable before God as a means of appeasement. All that God requires of anyone who wants to make peace with Him is confession of sin, repentance from the same and confessing Jesus as Lord, believing that He suffered, died for their sins and He was raised from the dead for their sake: "But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach; That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed" (Romans 10: 8-11). All that God requires is the blood of Jesus. It is enough for you. God bless.

A Soldier Gone To Headquaters

By Revd 'Remi Tejumola Shalom! A senior friend just went home to be with the Lord, PASTOR PATRICK EZEKUDE OBAZE. He was aged 78 years old. I got to know him in 1985 after I became a part of the Faith Clinic which was founded by Rev. (Dr.) I.K.U. Ibeneme of blessed memory. Uncle 'Bobo' Obaze, as was fondly called by Dr. Ibeneme, was one of the numerous workers that the Faith Clinic had in those days in the mid-80s. All the workers came from different churches and ministries, and were of various ages and giftings. In spite of his age, He was simple and humble. He was easy to get along with, and very kind. He loved Jesus and was as excited about Him as anyone of us was who were much younger than he was. Like other workers of the ministry he was involved in deliverance ministrations. He often traveled with Dr. Ibeneme for outside ministrations. He also had a special love to minister the Holy Ghost baptism. He had great success in this area of ministry. I know it because I was a...

The Holy Spirit Moves 4

By Revd 'Remi Tejumola Shalom! The works of the Holy Spirit varies, no one knows it all. But it's so exciting when one finds out about them. I was part of the Faith Clinic team that travelled with Dr. I. K. U. Ibeneme to minister at a campmeeting, December 1985. It was a deliverance session with the church on the outskirt of Lagos State. Our method of ministry was to ask individuals what problem they have, and we minister accordingly. After I had prayed with several people, it came to the turn of a brother. I went thru the normal process of our ministration and he stuttered and said, 'I am a stammerer'. I was flabbergasted because at that moment I didn't know what to do. But I just said, 'In Jesus' name, I plead the blood. Be healed!' and I took off to another place. During the testimony time, the brother said in very clear words, 'You know me. . . ' and the place became wild with excitement and shouts of 'Hallelujah!' rended the air!...

Faith and the Will of God

By Revd 'Remi Tejumola Shalom! Where exactly in the prayer of faith can we find the will of God? The will of God means what GOD expects, requires and demands, to be done by you. Paul said in his epistle to the Hebrew Christians, "... ye have need of patience, that, after ye have done the will of God, ye might receive the promise" (Hebrews 10:36). It is after you've done the will of God that YOU will experience the fulfillment of the promise. The will of God for you when using Mark 11: 24 is that part where Jesus said, "... when ye pray, believe that you recieve them ..." . Once you miss this part, you would have wasted your time and prayer. The will of God in this verse deals with, 1. The time of your prayer WHEN YOU PRAY, and, 2. What you believe when YOU PRAY. The other important thing about your prayer life that goes with the matter of the will of God has to do with your life. You must be a person of godly character. You must fear God and treat other peo...
