The Believers' Authority 6

By Revd 'Remi Tejumola

Shalom! Boldness to act is an important ingredient of the exercise of spiritual authority. Without boldness, having authority will just be like someone with a chieftancy title or an honorary degree. It will be of no use having it. It is no more than a decoration.

To be bold mean, to be courageous and brave. You have to have an attitude of daring to do things - you have to be adventurous, like Peter when he walked on water with Jesus, and also when he got that cripple healed at the beautiful gate. Later Peter dared to raise the dead and he did (Acts 9: 36-42). Boldness to do what you know the Word of God asked you to do - boldness to act on your faith. That's what I'm talking about. Without it, you will not get anywhere spiritually. But, thank God, you can ask Him to give you boldness and He will give it to you.

Read this verse and see what God said to us:

Ephesians 3: 20
20 Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us.

God wants us to have daring thoughts, and to dare to ask Him for things. The Bible says He is able to do more than those things we think of and ask for. Get this: nothing ventured, nothing gained.

Now I will show you how to use this your God-given authority where your health is concerned - to be concluded in the next posting.

Mark 11: 23
23 For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith
.

You need to study and understand this verse. It shows us how to operate by faith. Most of the things in the kingdom of God only work by faith, you need to understand this. There is more to prayer than just praying and speaking words. You have to pray by faith for your prayers to really work.

I am going to be very specific in my next posting. Please, ensure that you come back to visit this site, in your best interest. God bless.

A Soldier Gone To Headquaters

By Revd 'Remi Tejumola Shalom! A senior friend just went home to be with the Lord, PASTOR PATRICK EZEKUDE OBAZE. He was aged 78 years old. I got to know him in 1985 after I became a part of the Faith Clinic which was founded by Rev. (Dr.) I.K.U. Ibeneme of blessed memory. Uncle 'Bobo' Obaze, as was fondly called by Dr. Ibeneme, was one of the numerous workers that the Faith Clinic had in those days in the mid-80s. All the workers came from different churches and ministries, and were of various ages and giftings. In spite of his age, He was simple and humble. He was easy to get along with, and very kind. He loved Jesus and was as excited about Him as anyone of us was who were much younger than he was. Like other workers of the ministry he was involved in deliverance ministrations. He often traveled with Dr. Ibeneme for outside ministrations. He also had a special love to minister the Holy Ghost baptism. He had great success in this area of ministry. I know it because I was a...

The Holy Spirit Moves 4

By Revd 'Remi Tejumola Shalom! The works of the Holy Spirit varies, no one knows it all. But it's so exciting when one finds out about them. I was part of the Faith Clinic team that travelled with Dr. I. K. U. Ibeneme to minister at a campmeeting, December 1985. It was a deliverance session with the church on the outskirt of Lagos State. Our method of ministry was to ask individuals what problem they have, and we minister accordingly. After I had prayed with several people, it came to the turn of a brother. I went thru the normal process of our ministration and he stuttered and said, 'I am a stammerer'. I was flabbergasted because at that moment I didn't know what to do. But I just said, 'In Jesus' name, I plead the blood. Be healed!' and I took off to another place. During the testimony time, the brother said in very clear words, 'You know me. . . ' and the place became wild with excitement and shouts of 'Hallelujah!' rended the air!...

Faith and the Will of God

By Revd 'Remi Tejumola Shalom! Where exactly in the prayer of faith can we find the will of God? The will of God means what GOD expects, requires and demands, to be done by you. Paul said in his epistle to the Hebrew Christians, "... ye have need of patience, that, after ye have done the will of God, ye might receive the promise" (Hebrews 10:36). It is after you've done the will of God that YOU will experience the fulfillment of the promise. The will of God for you when using Mark 11: 24 is that part where Jesus said, "... when ye pray, believe that you recieve them ..." . Once you miss this part, you would have wasted your time and prayer. The will of God in this verse deals with, 1. The time of your prayer WHEN YOU PRAY, and, 2. What you believe when YOU PRAY. The other important thing about your prayer life that goes with the matter of the will of God has to do with your life. You must be a person of godly character. You must fear God and treat other peo...
