The Importance of Faith

By Revd 'Remi Tejumola

Shalom! Why are people's needs unmet even though they have prayed so much about them? Or is it that God select whose prayer to answer and whose to ignore? Or is it that people concerned have not prayed long enough?

God doesn't select prayers, but we select which prayer God should answer by our attitude to His Word.

Some people believe that how much time they spend praying determines the outcome of their prayers. This I know, our prayers are important to God and He has made provisions on how to get those needs met.

Mark 11: 24
24 Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.

Most time it's not that people don't pray long enough, but that they didn't pray according to the way the Word of God instructed us to do it. Excuse me, there is a how to pray about different needs.

Most times when people pray they do it hoping God heard, when they are supposed to be certain that He will definitely answer their prayers. The common problem is that people have not learnt how to pray in faith.

In our text, Mark 11: 24, Jesus taught us to believe we recieve those things we desire WHEN WE PRAY, and we will have those things. You may pray as long as you want, if you don't believe you recieve what you prayed for, you'll never get it.

The common problem is people are either doubting, fearing or not believing. You cannot have any of these and get prayers answered. See you next time. God bless.

A Soldier Gone To Headquaters

By Revd 'Remi Tejumola Shalom! A senior friend just went home to be with the Lord, PASTOR PATRICK EZEKUDE OBAZE. He was aged 78 years old. I got to know him in 1985 after I became a part of the Faith Clinic which was founded by Rev. (Dr.) I.K.U. Ibeneme of blessed memory. Uncle 'Bobo' Obaze, as was fondly called by Dr. Ibeneme, was one of the numerous workers that the Faith Clinic had in those days in the mid-80s. All the workers came from different churches and ministries, and were of various ages and giftings. In spite of his age, He was simple and humble. He was easy to get along with, and very kind. He loved Jesus and was as excited about Him as anyone of us was who were much younger than he was. Like other workers of the ministry he was involved in deliverance ministrations. He often traveled with Dr. Ibeneme for outside ministrations. He also had a special love to minister the Holy Ghost baptism. He had great success in this area of ministry. I know it because I was a...

The Holy Spirit Moves 5

By Revd 'Remi Tejumola Shalom! One major lesson that I began to learn as a born-again Christian is the subject of faith, and I am still learning it after 24years. I found out that if a Christian is ignorant of this subject, he will lead a lopsided life. Things will be very difficult for him in this life. The Bible says, "The just shall live by his faith" (Habakuk 2: 4). God works with those who have learnt and are living and walking by faith. The Bible says, "But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him" (Hebrews 11: 6). So faith is a must for those that would walk with God. In Mark 11: 22-24, the Bible says, "And Jesus answering saith unto them, Have faith in God. For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that tho...

The Holy Spirit Moves 1

By Revd 'Remi Tejumola Good day to you friend. Today, I want to share some of the things the Holy Spirit had done in my ministry in retrospect. This is meant to inspire you. God can use any believer in Christ to do these things and more. In fact Jesus puts it this way: John 14: 12-14 12 ¶ Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father. 13 And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. 14 If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it. Sometime, some people left the impression that the things that God used them to do is exclusive to them , but that is not really true. I know this is a strong statement, but it can never be stronger than what Jesus Christ, the Son of God, said above in John 14: 12. There is nothing that God had used someone else to do that He cannot use you to do - absolutely NOTHING! In fact, i...
