The Anointing of God 2

By Revd 'Remi Tejumola

Shalom!

"And it came to pass, when they were gone over, that Elijah said unto Elisha, Ask what I shall do for thee, before I be taken away from thee. And Elisha said, I pray thee, let a double portion of thy spirit be upon me" (2 Kings 2:9).

I have experienced divine impartations thru several men of God over the years since I got born again.

These impartations have added to me. A number of times these men were led of God to lay hands over younger ministers present. I went to a few of them and asked them to pray for me. It was glorious. I have had dreams in which great men of God came to lay hands on me and by the time I woke up, felt the power of God all over me.

In 1986, when I read the book titled, Understanding The Anointing, by Revd Kenneth E. Hagin, the anointing of God increased upon my life. As you stay around anointed people and their materials (books, audio and video), what you have will increase tremendously. Mine has.

If you are humble enough to depend on God to help you in ministry, you will experience more anointing in YOUR AREA OF MINISTRY. You should be humble enough to know that others also are anointed of God. You're not the only one. Everyone's area of ministry is peculiar and unique. You have what others don't have and they too have from God what you don't have, and you need those things in your life.

Elisha got twice as much anointing as Elijah, and he did twice as much too. Chariots of fire came to carry Elijah away to heaven, but nothing carried Elisha anywhere, but eventually, his bones in the grave brought a dead man back to life. Elijah joined Moses to strenghten Jesus before He was crucified at that holy mount where He was transfigured before Peter, James and John.

What matter is the kind of relationship we keep with God. It's important to have the Anointing of God, but it's best to be friends with Him in intimate fellowship.

Till next time, God bless.

A Soldier Gone To Headquaters

By Revd 'Remi Tejumola Shalom! A senior friend just went home to be with the Lord, PASTOR PATRICK EZEKUDE OBAZE. He was aged 78 years old. I got to know him in 1985 after I became a part of the Faith Clinic which was founded by Rev. (Dr.) I.K.U. Ibeneme of blessed memory. Uncle 'Bobo' Obaze, as was fondly called by Dr. Ibeneme, was one of the numerous workers that the Faith Clinic had in those days in the mid-80s. All the workers came from different churches and ministries, and were of various ages and giftings. In spite of his age, He was simple and humble. He was easy to get along with, and very kind. He loved Jesus and was as excited about Him as anyone of us was who were much younger than he was. Like other workers of the ministry he was involved in deliverance ministrations. He often traveled with Dr. Ibeneme for outside ministrations. He also had a special love to minister the Holy Ghost baptism. He had great success in this area of ministry. I know it because I was a...

Re-visiting Faith #5

By Revd 'Remi Tejumola Shalom! One can spend a whole lifetime studying the subject of faith and one will continue to learn so many sides that are involved therein. Let's look at our main text again: Hebrews 11: 6 6 But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him. Diligence is an attribute and attitude of faith. There is a kind of seriousness that is attached to the Bible kind of faith which is why God demands diligence in the seeker. The dictionary defines the word "diligence" as "careful and conscientious" and the word "careful" as "paying close attention". The word "conscientious" is defined "been diligent with one's work" . I don't think this can be overly emphasised since it is the very basis and fabric of our relationship with the Most High God. You can just imagine why this faith business ...

All Consuming Desire #5

By Revd 'Remi Tejumola Jesus Christ, our Lord and Saviour really gave us the definition of faith in Mark 11:23-24. He showed us exactly what we need to do. So everytime we take the faith stand, what we believe matters. We can't say after we've prayed the prayer of faith, "I am expecting such and such from God." To do that is to get out of faith which will abort our prayer. You must believe that you have recieved what you asked for in prayer WHEN YOU PRAY, and then it will manifest. But if you want to wait untill you see it manifest, you will never get to see it. This is where B.U.S.H. comes in. Believe you have recieved Untill Something Happens (untill it manifest). Once you believe you have recieved, stay put in that mode - regardless of how you feel or what you've not seen or felt. Just believe it's done for you already. That's what will cause the manifestation! Jesus said, "Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, ...
