The Anointing of God 3

Numbers 11:17, 25
17 And I will come down and talk with thee there: and I will take of the spirit which is upon thee, and will put it upon them; and they shall bear the burden of the people with thee, that thou bear it not thyself alone.
25 And the LORD came down in a cloud, and spake unto him, and took of the spirit that was upon him, and gave it unto the seventy elders: and it came to pass, that, when the spirit rested upon them, they prophesied, and did not cease.

In our text today, God shared the anointing on Moses with 70 elders of Israel so that they could adequately support him in ministry. Receiving the anointing is not a picnic. It is a great responsibility for anyone who receive it.

For years Elisha observed his master Elijah. He learnt what it meant to be a prophet of God, the sacrifices involved and also the blessings from God. With a great sense of responsibility he appreciate it, but was ready to go for the double dose. He got it and did twice as much work as his master, Elijah.

Over the years I've had people come to me to have the double dose of what I have and they got it. Some simply wanted me to pray so that God will anoint them and I've seen God done it. Some of them would just collapse under the power of the Holy Spirit. These kinds of phenomena happens a lot in my meetings because it's a part of what God has called me to do.

It's of great importance for each one of us to recognise our areas of ministry and excel there in our anointings.

I'm planning a Holy Ghost Miracle Service for December where things like the ones mentioned today happens and much more. Plan to be there. I'll soon get you the date and venue.

By Revd 'Remi Tejumola Shalom! One major lesson that I began to learn as a born-again Christian is the subject of faith, and I am still learning it after 24years. I found out that if a Christian is ignorant of this subject, he will lead a lopsided life. Things will be very difficult for him in this life. The Bible says, "The just shall live by his faith" (Habakuk 2: 4). God works with those who have learnt and are living and walking by faith. The Bible says, "But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him" (Hebrews 11: 6). So faith is a must for those that would walk with God. In Mark 11: 22-24, the Bible says, "And Jesus answering saith unto them, Have faith in God. Greetings

Hi there, friend! A happy new month to you. Usually, I greet my friends or acquaintances this way, "H.appy New Year" even if the last time I saw them was just a week ago. Just a funny greeting. The exciting ministry times still continues. I have just ended a whole month ministry time with the Believers' Fellowship in Ibadan here. So many people were blessed during the course of the meeting. I don't have pictures here because I misplaced my digi-cam. My Holy Ghost Miracle Service is now what we are preparing for between now and October. It's going to be a two-day event, three services - two evenings and one morning Life Seminar. We are preparing to use a church's venue here in Ibadan. I lost my mother-in-law just two days ago and she's going to be buried next week Saturday. Her own mum is still alive. She was a good mother to all her children, including me.
