Your Faith and God

By Revd 'Remi Tejumola

Shalom! I want you to see the true picture of the prayer of faith today. I will carefully do it so that you won't be confused. This is exciting.

God gave us that promise in Mark 11: 24, and with this promise you can get anything from Him - ANYTHING. God has given an open check and has endorsed it with His signature. You can write whatever you want in that check and get it. He is the One who made the promise and He is the One providing whatever we believe for. Let's see that precious verse again:

Mark 11: 24
24 Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.

Whatever you desire and believe you recieve WHEN YOU PRAY IS WHAT GOD WILL GIVE YOU - WHATEVER! If when YOU PRAY you believe you recieve nothing, that's exactly what you will get. But if you believe that you recieve exactly what you prayed for, that's what you will get. We get things from God by our faith. Faith in us is a product of God's Word which we have recieved. If you do not have His Word, you CAN'T HAVE FAITH IN HIM. The Bible says, "So then, faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God" (Romans 10: 17).

People have gotten houses, cars, clothes, foods, monies, healing, creative miracles and many many other things from God through their faith. So why not you? If you believe and say it can't work for you, IT WON'T. What you need to realise is that when YOU CHOOSE to doubt the promise of God, you have just used your faith in reverse. You believed THAT YOU CAN'T AND SO YOU CAN'T. So why don't you attempt the Word with all sincerity and faith and see God doing things for you. Your exciting days as a child of God are just really beginning! Your Father's waiting on you to wake up to the reality of your inheritance as God's child and enjoy the abundant life He has provided for you! See you next time. God bless.

A Soldier Gone To Headquaters

By Revd 'Remi Tejumola Shalom! A senior friend just went home to be with the Lord, PASTOR PATRICK EZEKUDE OBAZE. He was aged 78 years old. I got to know him in 1985 after I became a part of the Faith Clinic which was founded by Rev. (Dr.) I.K.U. Ibeneme of blessed memory. Uncle 'Bobo' Obaze, as was fondly called by Dr. Ibeneme, was one of the numerous workers that the Faith Clinic had in those days in the mid-80s. All the workers came from different churches and ministries, and were of various ages and giftings. In spite of his age, He was simple and humble. He was easy to get along with, and very kind. He loved Jesus and was as excited about Him as anyone of us was who were much younger than he was. Like other workers of the ministry he was involved in deliverance ministrations. He often traveled with Dr. Ibeneme for outside ministrations. He also had a special love to minister the Holy Ghost baptism. He had great success in this area of ministry. I know it because I was a...

Re-visiting Faith #5

By Revd 'Remi Tejumola Shalom! One can spend a whole lifetime studying the subject of faith and one will continue to learn so many sides that are involved therein. Let's look at our main text again: Hebrews 11: 6 6 But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him. Diligence is an attribute and attitude of faith. There is a kind of seriousness that is attached to the Bible kind of faith which is why God demands diligence in the seeker. The dictionary defines the word "diligence" as "careful and conscientious" and the word "careful" as "paying close attention". The word "conscientious" is defined "been diligent with one's work" . I don't think this can be overly emphasised since it is the very basis and fabric of our relationship with the Most High God. You can just imagine why this faith business ...

All Consuming Desire #5

By Revd 'Remi Tejumola Jesus Christ, our Lord and Saviour really gave us the definition of faith in Mark 11:23-24. He showed us exactly what we need to do. So everytime we take the faith stand, what we believe matters. We can't say after we've prayed the prayer of faith, "I am expecting such and such from God." To do that is to get out of faith which will abort our prayer. You must believe that you have recieved what you asked for in prayer WHEN YOU PRAY, and then it will manifest. But if you want to wait untill you see it manifest, you will never get to see it. This is where B.U.S.H. comes in. Believe you have recieved Untill Something Happens (untill it manifest). Once you believe you have recieved, stay put in that mode - regardless of how you feel or what you've not seen or felt. Just believe it's done for you already. That's what will cause the manifestation! Jesus said, "Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, ...
