Close to Glory 2010 (Ministry Update)

By Revd 'Remi Tejumola

Shalom! The theme of my ministry for 2010 is Close to Glory! Of course, we will be close to glory because for one thing Jesus may come back for us next year, if by the end of this year He hasn't come. This does not mean that I am predicting that Jesus will come next year. No, I just want us to be conscious of the fact that He will appear without a particular prior notice.

On the other hand we are going to see greater manifestation of the power of the Holy Spirit in our meetings. The Bible says, "The glory of this latter house shall be greater than of the former, saith the LORD of hosts: and in this place will I give peace, saith the LORD of hosts" (Haggai 2: 9). In a normal course of things, the scale of the manifestation of the power of the Holy Spirit should be increasing on a daily basis untill the very last day. But due to human nature and decisions, the scale has been going up and down since inception, and that's changing!

Our programmes will be a lot more impact-full. You don't want to miss such meetings for anything whatsoever. The Word of the Lord, as usual will be direct. The gifts of the Spirit will be more in manifestation too. The anointing, oh mine, will be a lot more profound also.

The reason for this? We're digging deeper than we ever did before into God's spiritual things - His Word and prayer. His Word to saturate us, prayer to get us more immersed into the things of the Holy Spirit, and separation more into the things of God other than the things of this world. (Not getting too entangled with worldly affairs), yet keeping the faith and responsibility to the people who are important to us by not neglecting them.

Are you with me there?

Let's prepare to meet the Lord so that when He comes we will be found truly waiting for Him the way He expects.

Heaven and hell are real places. The coming of Jesus will finalise a lot of things. Whatever decision you need to make before He comes will become an established one, because one way or the other, your indecision will turn out to be your decision. Make sure that your portion in the affair will be good. The Apostle John puts it this way, "Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is. And every man that hath this hope purifies himself, even as He is pure" (1 John 3: 2-3).

Let's do just that, ok?

Till next posting, God bless.

The Holy Spirit Moves 5

By Revd 'Remi Tejumola Shalom! One major lesson that I began to learn as a born-again Christian is the subject of faith, and I am still learning it after 24years. I found out that if a Christian is ignorant of this subject, he will lead a lopsided life. Things will be very difficult for him in this life. The Bible says, "The just shall live by his faith" (Habakuk 2: 4). God works with those who have learnt and are living and walking by faith. The Bible says, "But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him" (Hebrews 11: 6). So faith is a must for those that would walk with God. In Mark 11: 22-24, the Bible says, "And Jesus answering saith unto them, Have faith in God. For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that tho...

A Soldier Gone To Headquaters

By Revd 'Remi Tejumola Shalom! A senior friend just went home to be with the Lord, PASTOR PATRICK EZEKUDE OBAZE. He was aged 78 years old. I got to know him in 1985 after I became a part of the Faith Clinic which was founded by Rev. (Dr.) I.K.U. Ibeneme of blessed memory. Uncle 'Bobo' Obaze, as was fondly called by Dr. Ibeneme, was one of the numerous workers that the Faith Clinic had in those days in the mid-80s. All the workers came from different churches and ministries, and were of various ages and giftings. In spite of his age, He was simple and humble. He was easy to get along with, and very kind. He loved Jesus and was as excited about Him as anyone of us was who were much younger than he was. Like other workers of the ministry he was involved in deliverance ministrations. He often traveled with Dr. Ibeneme for outside ministrations. He also had a special love to minister the Holy Ghost baptism. He had great success in this area of ministry. I know it because I was a...

The Holy Spirit Moves 1

By Revd 'Remi Tejumola Good day to you friend. Today, I want to share some of the things the Holy Spirit had done in my ministry in retrospect. This is meant to inspire you. God can use any believer in Christ to do these things and more. In fact Jesus puts it this way: John 14: 12-14 12 ¶ Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father. 13 And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. 14 If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it. Sometime, some people left the impression that the things that God used them to do is exclusive to them , but that is not really true. I know this is a strong statement, but it can never be stronger than what Jesus Christ, the Son of God, said above in John 14: 12. There is nothing that God had used someone else to do that He cannot use you to do - absolutely NOTHING! In fact, i...
