Dynamic Scriptures 10

By Revd 'Remi Tejumola

Shalom! What you believe when you pray and afterwards matter. What you believe determines whether or not you ever get hold of what you desired of God.

Whenever you pray and ask God for anything, God wants you to believe that you have recieved whatever it is you asked for. If you asked God for a cat, believe you have recieved the cat and you will get it.

Notice He didn't say you should believe that God is going to bring it, but that you have received it, and you have it now by faith. This is when results come. But if after praying, and you didn't see any difference, you then say, 'I don't think my prayer is answered', you have just aborted your own prayer.

As soon as Jesus cursed the fig tree, He turned around and went His own way. He didn't bother to wait and see whether any change has occurred, "And Jesus answered and said unto it, No man eat fruit of thee hereafter for ever. And his disciples heard it" (Mark 11:14).

You can kill any sickness and disease this same way. Command the sickness or disease to die off your body in Jesus name and consider it done! Then watch yourself that you don't say anything contrary to what you wanted (desired) and had commanded.

It doesn't really matter what stage the disease has reached. You may still be feeling pain or as if your command didn't work. IT WORKED, AND IT'S WORKING. At least when you suffered from headache and pain, and you used paracetamol or panadol, you didn't get sudden relief. It took awhile for you to feel better. Your prayer worked. Wait for the result that is forthcoming. It doesn't matter what the doctors said about the disease. They may have done their best and have lost hope. Don't consider that, but consider the promise that Jesus gave us in John 14: 14, "If you ask anything in my name, I will do it." Consider only Jesus' promise at this point.

For Abraham to have Isaac, he had to stop considering his old, worn-out body. He considered only God's promise to him. He accepted calling himself 'a father of many nations' (Abraham) even when his wife of over 40years is yet to conceive since God gave him the word of promise (Read Romans 4: 13-25). I will advice that you go over this lesson today many times over untill you understand it. It is a matter of life - your life.

See you next time. God bless.

Hope, And Then Have Faith in God!

By Revd 'Remi Tejumola Shalom! There is a clear difference between hope and faith. Hope cannot achieve anything without faith, and faith has nothing to recieve without hope. Hope expects and faith recieves. One of hope's definition is 'eager yearning'. Hope dreams and will keep you smiling, but achieve nothing more than that. Hope is a picture of the things you want to have. Faith, on the other hand, does not expect anything. It is a reciever. Faith takes the unrealities of hope and brings them into the realm of reality. "Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen" (Hebrews 11: 1). It's just as if hope has been there waiting and achieving nothing untill faith arrived and grabbed hope and bring into reality what hope dreamt about. Now listen up, faith doesn't just come. Faith is produced through the knowledge of the Word of God that you've repeatedly heard (Romans 10: 17). Many times you don't have to hear God...

The Holy Spirit Moves 6

By Revd 'Remi Tejumola Shalom! The faith realm is God's realm. It is Jesus realm, and it is the realm of the Holy Spirit. Even all believers in Jesus Christ belongs in that realm. If you are a born-again Christian, this is your realm. You're a creature of faith. 1 John 5: 4 For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith. I want you to understand that victory is always attached to faith. When you get into faith you have entered into the realm of victory in whatever area it is where you're standing on God's Word. The realm of faith is filled with unlimited possibilities. If you come to think of it, you will realize that every step into faith is a step into divine creativity. In April 1994, I went to the UCH to fellowship with the Praise Temple which was founded by a friend, Dr. Sola Fola-Alade. It was a church which consisted mainly of medical students. As result of this they have to set up new ...

The Holy Spirit Moves 4

By Revd 'Remi Tejumola Shalom! The works of the Holy Spirit varies, no one knows it all. But it's so exciting when one finds out about them. I was part of the Faith Clinic team that travelled with Dr. I. K. U. Ibeneme to minister at a campmeeting, December 1985. It was a deliverance session with the church on the outskirt of Lagos State. Our method of ministry was to ask individuals what problem they have, and we minister accordingly. After I had prayed with several people, it came to the turn of a brother. I went thru the normal process of our ministration and he stuttered and said, 'I am a stammerer'. I was flabbergasted because at that moment I didn't know what to do. But I just said, 'In Jesus' name, I plead the blood. Be healed!' and I took off to another place. During the testimony time, the brother said in very clear words, 'You know me. . . ' and the place became wild with excitement and shouts of 'Hallelujah!' rended the air!...
