Lessons From the Book of Chronicles 1

By Revd 'Remi Tejumola

Shalom! For years I have thought of making use of some of the lessons from the book of Chronicles to teach whosoever is interested. Here it is: "And he sought God in the days of Zechariah, who had understanding in the visions of God: and as long as he sought the LORD, God made him to prosper" (2 Chronicles 26:5). The last two phrases is my text, '... as long as he sought the Lord, God made him to prosper'.

Do you want to prosper? Are you interested in doing well in life? If you are interested, do you know what is meant by seeking the Lord? Don't worry I'll spell it out for you now.

1. Seeking the Lord means praying and spending time in God's presence in order to know Him.

2. Spending time in God's Word in order to know His will about everything you want to do.

3. It also mean that you don't take God for granted, but you seek God's face regarding every issue of your life in order for Him to give you direction.

4. Seeking Him also mean that it's only Him that you worship, and no other God. You only bow to Him, the Most High God. The apostle Paul puts it this way, "... he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him" (Hebrews 11:6).

Those who gets involved in such things as listed above will prosper. Read the following Bible passages: Matthew 6: 33; Psalm 1: 1-6; Joshua 1: 8; Proverbs 4: 20-22; Matthew 4: 4 & John 15: 1-7.

As long as YOU seek the Lord, He will cause you to prosper. You will prosper during the time you spent seeking the LORD.

Till next posting, God bless.

A Soldier Gone To Headquaters

By Revd 'Remi Tejumola Shalom! A senior friend just went home to be with the Lord, PASTOR PATRICK EZEKUDE OBAZE. He was aged 78 years old. I got to know him in 1985 after I became a part of the Faith Clinic which was founded by Rev. (Dr.) I.K.U. Ibeneme of blessed memory. Uncle 'Bobo' Obaze, as was fondly called by Dr. Ibeneme, was one of the numerous workers that the Faith Clinic had in those days in the mid-80s. All the workers came from different churches and ministries, and were of various ages and giftings. In spite of his age, He was simple and humble. He was easy to get along with, and very kind. He loved Jesus and was as excited about Him as anyone of us was who were much younger than he was. Like other workers of the ministry he was involved in deliverance ministrations. He often traveled with Dr. Ibeneme for outside ministrations. He also had a special love to minister the Holy Ghost baptism. He had great success in this area of ministry. I know it because I was a...

Dynamic Scriptures 10

By Revd 'Remi Tejumola Shalom! What you believe when you pray and afterwards matter. What you believe determines whether or not you ever get hold of what you desired of God. Whenever you pray and ask God for anything, God wants you to believe that you have recieved whatever it is you asked for. If you asked God for a cat, believe you have recieved the cat and you will get it. Notice He didn't say you should believe that God is going to bring it, but that you have received it, and you have it now by faith. This is when results come. But if after praying, and you didn't see any difference, you then say, 'I don't think my prayer is answered' , you have just aborted your own prayer. As soon as Jesus cursed the fig tree, He turned around and went His own way. He didn't bother to wait and see whether any change has occurred, "And Jesus answered and said unto it, No man eat fruit of thee hereafter for ever. And his disciples heard it" (Mark 11:14). You c...

The Holy Spirit Moves 1

By Revd 'Remi Tejumola Good day to you friend. Today, I want to share some of the things the Holy Spirit had done in my ministry in retrospect. This is meant to inspire you. God can use any believer in Christ to do these things and more. In fact Jesus puts it this way: John 14: 12-14 12 ¶ Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father. 13 And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. 14 If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it. Sometime, some people left the impression that the things that God used them to do is exclusive to them , but that is not really true. I know this is a strong statement, but it can never be stronger than what Jesus Christ, the Son of God, said above in John 14: 12. There is nothing that God had used someone else to do that He cannot use you to do - absolutely NOTHING! In fact, i...
