Shalom! What could happen that can cause you to pronounce that a particular day is the best in your life? Untill it happen, you can't even guess. King Solomon had a day like that. Let's see it:
2 Chronicles 1: 6-10
6 And Solomon went up thither to the brasen altar before the LORD, which was at the tabernacle of the congregation, and offered a thousand burnt offerings upon it.
7 In that night did God appear unto Solomon, and said unto him, Ask what I shall give thee.
8 And Solomon said unto God, Thou hast shewed great mercy unto David my father, and hast made me to reign in his stead.
9 Now, O LORD God, let thy promise unto David my father be established: for thou hast made me king over a people like the dust of the earth in multitude.
10 Give me now wisdom and knowledge, that I may go out and come in before this people: for who can judge this thy people, that is so great?
If God ever offer you a blank cheque like this, what will you fill into it? Think of it, God was so pleased with him that He was ready to do whatever Solomon may ask for. ANYTHING!
God was even more impressed that He gave Solomon more than he asked for. Read the whole story: 2 Chronicles 1: 6-12. What others would have asked for, and he didn't, God gave him. One lesson I have learnt is that you could be in God's presence for a protracted lenght of time, but what really matters is what you ask for while you're there that will make all the difference in your life. Look at Moses experience, 40 days and 40 nights, first time to recieve the Tables of the Ten commandments, nothing spectacular happened, and it would have been a repeated experience of nothing happening if when he returned for the replacement of the tables of the Ten Commandments if he had not done what he did in Exodus 33, he asked God to reveal Himself to him. And God did.
Watch what you ask our Father God for whenever He offers you any opportunity to ask for something.
Till next posting, God bless.
