Lessons From The Book Of Chronicles 10

By Revd 'Remi Tejumola

Shalom! May God give us leaders that will execute judgement and justice. Did I hear you say, 'Amen!' I do hope you did.

One of the key factors that made Denmark the least corrupt nation in the world is because of the kind of people they've had as their leaders. It's not that they don't have corruption in their system, but compared with all other nations their level of corruption is the least. What caught my attention on this issue is what the Bible says about the second king of Israel, King David:

1 Chronicles 18: 14
14 So David reigned over all Israel, and executed judgment and justice among all his people.

From both observation and experience, I've learnt that laws have to be enforced with true justice for us to have any kind of development in this corrupt and chaotic world. People shouldn't be without restraint. Imagine that, the least corrupt country in the world still have a bit of corruption in it. So what is corruption? The word corrupt means 'willing to act dishonestly in return for money, etc' ; 'evil and immoral'.

When a personal computer is said to have corrupted files, it means something bad has happened to the file or it is infected with a computer virus. So either delete the file or you get a powerful enough anti-virus software to clean it up. And may God help you if your anti-virus is also corrupted. If that be the case, you will have to format your PC. Which means all important files will be lost.

This is one of the reasons why things don't work out well in this world - corruption. Once there's an honest repentance from wrong doing by any corrupt leader, and he's still able to keep his office, he will begin to clean up his country's system right from the top and that nation will start enjoying real development.

May God give us real leaders who are righteous and are godly in every good sense of the word in Jesus name. Amen!

Till next posting, God bless.

A Soldier Gone To Headquaters

By Revd 'Remi Tejumola Shalom! A senior friend just went home to be with the Lord, PASTOR PATRICK EZEKUDE OBAZE. He was aged 78 years old. I got to know him in 1985 after I became a part of the Faith Clinic which was founded by Rev. (Dr.) I.K.U. Ibeneme of blessed memory. Uncle 'Bobo' Obaze, as was fondly called by Dr. Ibeneme, was one of the numerous workers that the Faith Clinic had in those days in the mid-80s. All the workers came from different churches and ministries, and were of various ages and giftings. In spite of his age, He was simple and humble. He was easy to get along with, and very kind. He loved Jesus and was as excited about Him as anyone of us was who were much younger than he was. Like other workers of the ministry he was involved in deliverance ministrations. He often traveled with Dr. Ibeneme for outside ministrations. He also had a special love to minister the Holy Ghost baptism. He had great success in this area of ministry. I know it because I was a...

Re-visiting Faith #5

By Revd 'Remi Tejumola Shalom! One can spend a whole lifetime studying the subject of faith and one will continue to learn so many sides that are involved therein. Let's look at our main text again: Hebrews 11: 6 6 But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him. Diligence is an attribute and attitude of faith. There is a kind of seriousness that is attached to the Bible kind of faith which is why God demands diligence in the seeker. The dictionary defines the word "diligence" as "careful and conscientious" and the word "careful" as "paying close attention". The word "conscientious" is defined "been diligent with one's work" . I don't think this can be overly emphasised since it is the very basis and fabric of our relationship with the Most High God. You can just imagine why this faith business ...

All Consuming Desire #5

By Revd 'Remi Tejumola Jesus Christ, our Lord and Saviour really gave us the definition of faith in Mark 11:23-24. He showed us exactly what we need to do. So everytime we take the faith stand, what we believe matters. We can't say after we've prayed the prayer of faith, "I am expecting such and such from God." To do that is to get out of faith which will abort our prayer. You must believe that you have recieved what you asked for in prayer WHEN YOU PRAY, and then it will manifest. But if you want to wait untill you see it manifest, you will never get to see it. This is where B.U.S.H. comes in. Believe you have recieved Untill Something Happens (untill it manifest). Once you believe you have recieved, stay put in that mode - regardless of how you feel or what you've not seen or felt. Just believe it's done for you already. That's what will cause the manifestation! Jesus said, "Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, ...
