Lessons From The Books Of Chronicles 13

By Revd 'Remi Tejumola

Shalom! The Queen of Sheba visited with King Solomon, and after observing all that went on in his kingdom, among other things, she said, "Happy are thy men, and happy are these thy servants, which stand continually before thee, and hear thy wisdom" (2 Chronicles 9:7). These stood out to her in the midst of so much wealth.

We know a lot of stupendously rich people with a lot of disgruntled servants. What this mean is that these rich people do not care for those that are serving them. Sadly, these same things are seeing with some Christians, and even some men of God. They don't care for their staff members.

Recently, I visited with one of my partners and he told me what he saw at the Kenneth Copeland Ministries; staff members recieved first-class treatment from their boss and the ministry so much so a security guard said, 'No one wants to leave here.' I don't know any servant that would desire to leave a place where he's serving and is been treated like a king by his master in every good way.

While my friend was there for the annual conference, he noted that the place reserved for the use of the members of staff of KCM for meals had everything first class. This is the way it should be.

Jesus made all believers His joint-heirs, raised together with Him, and made to sit together with Him in heavenly places.

I know a family in Ibadan here. Untill I was told by a relation of theirs, I didn't know that the lady with a baby in their house was their housemaid. They eat together on their dining table. She was also sent to school by this family. May God bless them.

There must be a difference between the way a believer treats people and the way an unbeliever does it. Think about it.

Till next posting, God bless.

A Soldier Gone To Headquaters

By Revd 'Remi Tejumola Shalom! A senior friend just went home to be with the Lord, PASTOR PATRICK EZEKUDE OBAZE. He was aged 78 years old. I got to know him in 1985 after I became a part of the Faith Clinic which was founded by Rev. (Dr.) I.K.U. Ibeneme of blessed memory. Uncle 'Bobo' Obaze, as was fondly called by Dr. Ibeneme, was one of the numerous workers that the Faith Clinic had in those days in the mid-80s. All the workers came from different churches and ministries, and were of various ages and giftings. In spite of his age, He was simple and humble. He was easy to get along with, and very kind. He loved Jesus and was as excited about Him as anyone of us was who were much younger than he was. Like other workers of the ministry he was involved in deliverance ministrations. He often traveled with Dr. Ibeneme for outside ministrations. He also had a special love to minister the Holy Ghost baptism. He had great success in this area of ministry. I know it because I was a...

Re-visiting Faith #5

By Revd 'Remi Tejumola Shalom! One can spend a whole lifetime studying the subject of faith and one will continue to learn so many sides that are involved therein. Let's look at our main text again: Hebrews 11: 6 6 But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him. Diligence is an attribute and attitude of faith. There is a kind of seriousness that is attached to the Bible kind of faith which is why God demands diligence in the seeker. The dictionary defines the word "diligence" as "careful and conscientious" and the word "careful" as "paying close attention". The word "conscientious" is defined "been diligent with one's work" . I don't think this can be overly emphasised since it is the very basis and fabric of our relationship with the Most High God. You can just imagine why this faith business ...

All Consuming Desire #5

By Revd 'Remi Tejumola Jesus Christ, our Lord and Saviour really gave us the definition of faith in Mark 11:23-24. He showed us exactly what we need to do. So everytime we take the faith stand, what we believe matters. We can't say after we've prayed the prayer of faith, "I am expecting such and such from God." To do that is to get out of faith which will abort our prayer. You must believe that you have recieved what you asked for in prayer WHEN YOU PRAY, and then it will manifest. But if you want to wait untill you see it manifest, you will never get to see it. This is where B.U.S.H. comes in. Believe you have recieved Untill Something Happens (untill it manifest). Once you believe you have recieved, stay put in that mode - regardless of how you feel or what you've not seen or felt. Just believe it's done for you already. That's what will cause the manifestation! Jesus said, "Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, ...
