First Thing First

By Revd 'Remi Tejumola

Shalom! What should be the first thing in your life which should form the foundation for your success in life? Jesus puts it this way:

Matthew 22: 37-38
37 Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.
38 This is the first and great commandment.

Today I'm not really here to explain and define it, and then teach you how to go about it.

Say these or make these confession with all your heart:

I love God, my heavenly Father with all my heart.

I love Jesus, Son of God, my Redeemer, Lord and King, my Master and my big Brother.

I love the Holy Ghost, my Comforter, my Guide, Teacher, Helper and my Friend.

I love the Word of God, the Lamp unto my feet and the Light unto my path - my road-map to a sure future.

This are the things Jesus said of those who have left their first love:

Revelations 2: 4-5
4 Nevertheless I have somewhat against thee, because thou hast left thy first love.
5 Remember therefore from whence thou art fallen, and repent, and do the first works; or else I will come unto thee quickly, and will
remove thy candlestick out of his place, except thou repent.

We've got to keep our love for God strong. Jesus said it all in the
first Commandment: Love God with everything you've got! When you love you adore and you worship. And when you love you'll do what the object of your love demands of you.

Jesus said, "If ye love me, keep my commandments" (John 14:15).

Till next posting, God bless.

A Soldier Gone To Headquaters

By Revd 'Remi Tejumola Shalom! A senior friend just went home to be with the Lord, PASTOR PATRICK EZEKUDE OBAZE. He was aged 78 years old. I got to know him in 1985 after I became a part of the Faith Clinic which was founded by Rev. (Dr.) I.K.U. Ibeneme of blessed memory. Uncle 'Bobo' Obaze, as was fondly called by Dr. Ibeneme, was one of the numerous workers that the Faith Clinic had in those days in the mid-80s. All the workers came from different churches and ministries, and were of various ages and giftings. In spite of his age, He was simple and humble. He was easy to get along with, and very kind. He loved Jesus and was as excited about Him as anyone of us was who were much younger than he was. Like other workers of the ministry he was involved in deliverance ministrations. He often traveled with Dr. Ibeneme for outside ministrations. He also had a special love to minister the Holy Ghost baptism. He had great success in this area of ministry. I know it because I was a...

Dynamic Scriptures 10

By Revd 'Remi Tejumola Shalom! What you believe when you pray and afterwards matter. What you believe determines whether or not you ever get hold of what you desired of God. Whenever you pray and ask God for anything, God wants you to believe that you have recieved whatever it is you asked for. If you asked God for a cat, believe you have recieved the cat and you will get it. Notice He didn't say you should believe that God is going to bring it, but that you have received it, and you have it now by faith. This is when results come. But if after praying, and you didn't see any difference, you then say, 'I don't think my prayer is answered' , you have just aborted your own prayer. As soon as Jesus cursed the fig tree, He turned around and went His own way. He didn't bother to wait and see whether any change has occurred, "And Jesus answered and said unto it, No man eat fruit of thee hereafter for ever. And his disciples heard it" (Mark 11:14). You c...

The Holy Spirit Moves 8

By Revd 'Remi Tejumola Shalom! Great day to you friend. I hope you are gaining from this on going sharing about the work of the Holy Spirit in my ministry over the years. In a few weeks' time my book Understanding Opportunity will be out. The structure has been in place for a few years. I will now fill it up for publication. Look out for it. It's gonna add to you. The Bible says, "For the kingdom of God is not meat and drink; but righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost" (Romans 14: 17). Over the years in my meetings people have encountered Holy Spirit joy, and have broken out laughing and dancing! It's been quite a refreshing thing for everyone. But really people have encountered a lot more than those aforementioned. In my first meeting with the CCIC D-Line Centre , among other things that the Holy Spirit did, His power came upon a dear sister, and she struggled to get into her car after the service, trying to go home, but couldn't move it fo...
