World State

By Revd 'Remi Tejumola

Shalom! God spoke these words to a minister of His: "The only hope any man have in this world is faith in Jesus Christ," the Son of God. The only hope, not another hope.

The signs of the time shows that Jesus will soon be back to take His own away. There are so many kinds of crisis happening all over the world, floods, earthquakes, cold & snow, avalanches, fire and war; sicknesses and diseases, economic breakdown, etc.

Things are growing worse, the systems of the world are failing, and the stage is been set for the rule of anti-Christ. Yet, in the midst of all these, there are still a lot of technological advancements.

I believe you know how to lead your life in this crooked and perverse world. Just be sensitive and careful wherever you may be or find yourself.

Learn to listen for the voice of the Lord. This is highly important because God will give you direction where your safety is concerned if you care enough to listen for it.

Just yesterday an earthquake of 7.0 on a ritcher scale struck Port Au Prince, Haiti. Many people became homeless, and many people got killed, both young and old.

The threat of nuclear war is right there all the time. Mankind is ready to wipe itself off. Yet the end is still far away.

Corruption at every level is on the rise. A lot of evil that people do are on a terrific increase, kidnapping, rituals, sales of human beings for evil entertainment and so on. Things have gone from bad to worse. Human lives means nothing to most of these people. As long as they can get paid, they'll do anything.

As for us, believers, we have a responsibility to live right and get the Gospel out to people as we await the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. Our flight will soon take place at His coming. We're going on holiday with the Lord. It's gonna be a glory Hallelujah! The Bible says, "For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. Wherefore comfort one another with these words" (1 Thessalonians 4: 16-18).

Till next posting, God bless.

A Soldier Gone To Headquaters

By Revd 'Remi Tejumola Shalom! A senior friend just went home to be with the Lord, PASTOR PATRICK EZEKUDE OBAZE. He was aged 78 years old. I got to know him in 1985 after I became a part of the Faith Clinic which was founded by Rev. (Dr.) I.K.U. Ibeneme of blessed memory. Uncle 'Bobo' Obaze, as was fondly called by Dr. Ibeneme, was one of the numerous workers that the Faith Clinic had in those days in the mid-80s. All the workers came from different churches and ministries, and were of various ages and giftings. In spite of his age, He was simple and humble. He was easy to get along with, and very kind. He loved Jesus and was as excited about Him as anyone of us was who were much younger than he was. Like other workers of the ministry he was involved in deliverance ministrations. He often traveled with Dr. Ibeneme for outside ministrations. He also had a special love to minister the Holy Ghost baptism. He had great success in this area of ministry. I know it because I was a...

The Holy Spirit Moves 4

By Revd 'Remi Tejumola Shalom! The works of the Holy Spirit varies, no one knows it all. But it's so exciting when one finds out about them. I was part of the Faith Clinic team that travelled with Dr. I. K. U. Ibeneme to minister at a campmeeting, December 1985. It was a deliverance session with the church on the outskirt of Lagos State. Our method of ministry was to ask individuals what problem they have, and we minister accordingly. After I had prayed with several people, it came to the turn of a brother. I went thru the normal process of our ministration and he stuttered and said, 'I am a stammerer'. I was flabbergasted because at that moment I didn't know what to do. But I just said, 'In Jesus' name, I plead the blood. Be healed!' and I took off to another place. During the testimony time, the brother said in very clear words, 'You know me. . . ' and the place became wild with excitement and shouts of 'Hallelujah!' rended the air!...

Faith and the Will of God

By Revd 'Remi Tejumola Shalom! Where exactly in the prayer of faith can we find the will of God? The will of God means what GOD expects, requires and demands, to be done by you. Paul said in his epistle to the Hebrew Christians, "... ye have need of patience, that, after ye have done the will of God, ye might receive the promise" (Hebrews 10:36). It is after you've done the will of God that YOU will experience the fulfillment of the promise. The will of God for you when using Mark 11: 24 is that part where Jesus said, "... when ye pray, believe that you recieve them ..." . Once you miss this part, you would have wasted your time and prayer. The will of God in this verse deals with, 1. The time of your prayer WHEN YOU PRAY, and, 2. What you believe when YOU PRAY. The other important thing about your prayer life that goes with the matter of the will of God has to do with your life. You must be a person of godly character. You must fear God and treat other peo...
