Using The Name Of Jesus #3

Shalom! What Jesus Himself will do is the same thing His name will accomplish. Let this statement sink into heart.

Example 1:
"And, behold, there came a leper and worshipped him, saying, Lord, if thou wilt, thou canst make me clean. And Jesus put forth his hand, and touched him, saying, I will; be thou clean. And immediately his leprosy was cleansed" (Matthew 8:2-3). If a lepros person come to you for prayer, do exactly what Jesus did in His name. Say, In the name of Jesus Christ, be thou cleansed!

Example 2:
"And when Jesus was come into Peter's house, he saw his wife's mother laid, and sick of a fever. And he touched her hand, and the fever left her: and she arose, and ministered unto them" (Matthew 8:15).

Always follow Jesus example, using His name everytime, and the result will be the same.

When you pray for the sick in His name, His name represent Him. You are also representing Jesus to that sick or needy fellow. You become the channel of blessing to the person or people you minister to.

Hope expects and faith recieves. One of hope's definition is 'eager yearning'. Hope dreams and will keep you smiling, but achieve nothing more than that. Hope is a picture of the things you want to have. Faith, on the other hand, does not expect anything. It is a reciever. Faith takes the unrealities of hope and brings them into the realm of reality. It's just as if hope has been there waiting and achieving nothing untill faith arrived and grabbed hope and bring into reality what hope dreamt about. Now listen up, faith doesn't just come. By Revd 'Remi Tejumola Shalom! The faith realm is God's realm. It is Jesus realm, and it is the realm of the Holy Spirit. Even all believers in Jesus Christ belongs in that realm. If you are a born-again Christian, this is your realm. You're a creature of faith. 1 John 5: 4 For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith. I want you to understand that victory is always attached to faith. When you get into faith you have entered into the realm of victory in whatever area it is where you're standing on God's Word. The realm of faith is filled with unlimited possibilities. If you come to think of it, you will realize that every step into faith is a step into divine creativity. The Holy Spirit Moves 4

By Revd 'Remi Tejumola Shalom! The works of the Holy Spirit varies, no one knows it all. But it's so exciting when one finds out about them. I was part of the Faith Clinic team that travelled with Dr. I. K. U. Ibeneme to minister at a campmeeting, December 1985. It was a deliverance session with the church on the outskirt of Lagos State. Our method of ministry was to ask individuals what problem they have, and we minister accordingly. After I had prayed with several people, it came to the turn of a brother. I went thru the normal process of our ministration and he stuttered and said, 'I am a stammerer'. I was flabbergasted because at that moment I didn't know what to do. But I just said, 'In Jesus' name, I plead the blood. Be healed!' and I took off to another place. During the testimony time, the brother said in very clear words, 'You know me. . . ' and the place became wild with excitement and shouts of 'Hallelujah!' rended the air!...
