Authority CODE 101

By Revd 'Remi Tejumola

Shalom! You don't have to accept things that you don't like. You don't have to accept defeat where your life is concerned.

If, peradventure you were born with a certain defect, you don't have to accept it as God's will for your life. The fact that you have defect is a proof of satan's work in corrupting and manipulating the genes in man so that he could convince human beings that God made them the way they are. Once a person is convinced that God made him the way he is, he will find it difficult to believe the same God would heal him.

When God originally made Adam and Eve, there was not a single defect in them untill sin got in thru their disobedience to God's Word. They had not made babies then. Babies began to come after they sinned against God, and satan became the god of this world. This is why some children are born with one deformity or the other.

The devil began to use Adam's authority to rule over mankind and all the earth with all his evil devices. But thanks be God, Jesus defeated him and gave us authority over him and all his works. As Christians, we are not in subjection to him. He is subject to us through the name of Jesus.

Colossians 2: 15
15 And having spoiled principalities and powers, he made a shew of them openly, triumphing over them in it.

If you know the truth, the devil has no say over your life. You've got the power to silence him and destroy his works.

It was the fall of Adam and Eve that affected the climate of the earth. From that time things have gone haywire, children are born with one defect or the other. The climate of the earth went crazy, bringing all sorts of calamities into the world: earthquakes, landslides, floods, sicknesses, diseases, wildfires and etc, and at the same time peddle the lie that God is behind all of them. These are the works of the devil.

Jesus healed the man that was born blind, and Peter healed the man at the beautiful gate, who was a cripple from birth, in the name of Jesus (John 9: 1-9; Acts 3: 1-9).

You don't have to accept whatever the devil throws your way. You can change them through faith in the name of Jesus. That's our God-given privilege.

Till next posting, God bless.

A Soldier Gone To Headquaters

By Revd 'Remi Tejumola Shalom! A senior friend just went home to be with the Lord, PASTOR PATRICK EZEKUDE OBAZE. He was aged 78 years old. I got to know him in 1985 after I became a part of the Faith Clinic which was founded by Rev. (Dr.) I.K.U. Ibeneme of blessed memory. Uncle 'Bobo' Obaze, as was fondly called by Dr. Ibeneme, was one of the numerous workers that the Faith Clinic had in those days in the mid-80s. All the workers came from different churches and ministries, and were of various ages and giftings. In spite of his age, He was simple and humble. He was easy to get along with, and very kind. He loved Jesus and was as excited about Him as anyone of us was who were much younger than he was. Like other workers of the ministry he was involved in deliverance ministrations. He often traveled with Dr. Ibeneme for outside ministrations. He also had a special love to minister the Holy Ghost baptism. He had great success in this area of ministry. I know it because I was a...

The Holy Spirit Moves 4

By Revd 'Remi Tejumola Shalom! The works of the Holy Spirit varies, no one knows it all. But it's so exciting when one finds out about them. I was part of the Faith Clinic team that travelled with Dr. I. K. U. Ibeneme to minister at a campmeeting, December 1985. It was a deliverance session with the church on the outskirt of Lagos State. Our method of ministry was to ask individuals what problem they have, and we minister accordingly. After I had prayed with several people, it came to the turn of a brother. I went thru the normal process of our ministration and he stuttered and said, 'I am a stammerer'. I was flabbergasted because at that moment I didn't know what to do. But I just said, 'In Jesus' name, I plead the blood. Be healed!' and I took off to another place. During the testimony time, the brother said in very clear words, 'You know me. . . ' and the place became wild with excitement and shouts of 'Hallelujah!' rended the air!...

Faith and the Will of God

By Revd 'Remi Tejumola Shalom! Where exactly in the prayer of faith can we find the will of God? The will of God means what GOD expects, requires and demands, to be done by you. Paul said in his epistle to the Hebrew Christians, "... ye have need of patience, that, after ye have done the will of God, ye might receive the promise" (Hebrews 10:36). It is after you've done the will of God that YOU will experience the fulfillment of the promise. The will of God for you when using Mark 11: 24 is that part where Jesus said, "... when ye pray, believe that you recieve them ..." . Once you miss this part, you would have wasted your time and prayer. The will of God in this verse deals with, 1. The time of your prayer WHEN YOU PRAY, and, 2. What you believe when YOU PRAY. The other important thing about your prayer life that goes with the matter of the will of God has to do with your life. You must be a person of godly character. You must fear God and treat other peo...
