Daily Bread

By Revd 'Remi Tejumola

Shalom! Among the important points that Jesus taught His disciples to pray in what we termed Our Lord's Prayer is "Give us this day our daily bread" (Matthew 6:11).

Todays teaching is meant to challenge us to do something very revolutionary with our Christian life.

On the way to the promised land, God fed His people, the Israelites, with manna everyday of their journey till they got to the promised land.

Jesus said we should ask for daily bread. All that the Israelites did was complained about not having food to eat. They didn't have to work for it. The daily bread included in the Lord's Prayer is not what you are expected to work for. God will provide you with it, if you ask for it. Please think about this offer from the lips of Jesus. I am not in anyway encouraging laziness here. Would Jesus teach us to ask for what God will not provide?

A miracle a day can be your experience as you begin to ask and believe God for a miraculous provision per day. It is an exercise of living by faith.

Pray and believe God for something today, and watch Him meet your need supernaturally.

For more help on how to get God to meet your needs, checkout the recent series of teachings I gave on the subject, Re-visiting Faith.

If you didn't get anything from your prayer, you should examine your life and find out what you did wrong and what you didn't do.

Till next posting, God bless.

The Holy Spirit Moves 1

By Revd 'Remi Tejumola Good day to you friend. Today, I want to share some of the things the Holy Spirit had done in my ministry in retrospect. This is meant to inspire you. God can use any believer in Christ to do these things and more. In fact Jesus puts it this way: John 14: 12-14 12 ¶ Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father. 13 And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. 14 If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it. Sometime, some people left the impression that the things that God used them to do is exclusive to them , but that is not really true. I know this is a strong statement, but it can never be stronger than what Jesus Christ, the Son of God, said above in John 14: 12. There is nothing that God had used someone else to do that He cannot use you to do - absolutely NOTHING! In fact, i...

The Holy Spirit Moves 5

By Revd 'Remi Tejumola Shalom! One major lesson that I began to learn as a born-again Christian is the subject of faith, and I am still learning it after 24years. I found out that if a Christian is ignorant of this subject, he will lead a lopsided life. Things will be very difficult for him in this life. The Bible says, "The just shall live by his faith" (Habakuk 2: 4). God works with those who have learnt and are living and walking by faith. The Bible says, "But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him" (Hebrews 11: 6). So faith is a must for those that would walk with God. In Mark 11: 22-24, the Bible says, "And Jesus answering saith unto them, Have faith in God. For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that tho...

Greetings

Hi there, friend! A happy new month to you. Usually, I greet my friends or acquaintances this way, "H.appy New Year" even if the last time I saw them was just a week ago. Just a funny greeting. The exciting ministry times still continues. I have just ended a whole month ministry time with the Believers' Fellowship in Ibadan here. So many people were blessed during the course of the meeting. I don't have pictures here because I misplaced my digi-cam. My Holy Ghost Miracle Service is now what we are preparing for between now and October. It's going to be a two-day event, three services - two evenings and one morning Life Seminar. We are preparing to use a church's venue here in Ibadan. I lost my mother-in-law just two days ago and she's going to be buried next week Saturday. Her own mum is still alive. She was a good mother to all her children, including me. So we plan to give her a beffiting funeral at Owo Town, Ondo State. A friend sent me an e-mail and I ...
