The Holy Spirit #1

By Revd 'Remi Tejumola

Shalom! There has been a lot of teachings about the Holy Spirit made over the years in order to bring the people of God into that place of intimacy with Him. The apostle Paul prayed that "... the communion of the Holy Ghost be with you all" (2 Corinthians 13: 14). In other words, he prayed for us to know the Holy Spirit as our Friend.

The name Comforter also mean Friend. God has sent the Holy Spirit here on earth into our lives to be our Friend.

Having the Holy Spirit in our lives as Friend is a great thing because He is God just like the Almighty Father.

Imagine you and God taking a walk together with, holding hands and chatting along as close friends. This is what God desires regarding all of us believers in Christ Jesus.

It could be a very exciting experience for each one of us if we really desire it.

The Holy Spirit has already been given to you since the day you accepted Jesus as your Saviour and Lord. It's now up to you to make a move towards real friendship with Him.

1. Accept the truth that He is already there in your life.

2. Start talking to Him, asking Him to do those things Jesus said He would do in your life eg, teaching, guiding, helping and showing you things to come; bringing things to your remembrance and standing by you at all times.

As God, He is able to do all things, and nothing is impossible with Him. He knows everything and can see everything. There no one on earth as powerful and great as He is. The Holy Spirit is God and I've seen His power.

Till next posting, God bless.

A Soldier Gone To Headquaters

By Revd 'Remi Tejumola Shalom! A senior friend just went home to be with the Lord, PASTOR PATRICK EZEKUDE OBAZE. He was aged 78 years old. I got to know him in 1985 after I became a part of the Faith Clinic which was founded by Rev. (Dr.) I.K.U. Ibeneme of blessed memory. Uncle 'Bobo' Obaze, as was fondly called by Dr. Ibeneme, was one of the numerous workers that the Faith Clinic had in those days in the mid-80s. All the workers came from different churches and ministries, and were of various ages and giftings. In spite of his age, He was simple and humble. He was easy to get along with, and very kind. He loved Jesus and was as excited about Him as anyone of us was who were much younger than he was. Like other workers of the ministry he was involved in deliverance ministrations. He often traveled with Dr. Ibeneme for outside ministrations. He also had a special love to minister the Holy Ghost baptism. He had great success in this area of ministry. I know it because I was a...

Dynamic Scriptures 10

By Revd 'Remi Tejumola Shalom! What you believe when you pray and afterwards matter. What you believe determines whether or not you ever get hold of what you desired of God. Whenever you pray and ask God for anything, God wants you to believe that you have recieved whatever it is you asked for. If you asked God for a cat, believe you have recieved the cat and you will get it. Notice He didn't say you should believe that God is going to bring it, but that you have received it, and you have it now by faith. This is when results come. But if after praying, and you didn't see any difference, you then say, 'I don't think my prayer is answered' , you have just aborted your own prayer. As soon as Jesus cursed the fig tree, He turned around and went His own way. He didn't bother to wait and see whether any change has occurred, "And Jesus answered and said unto it, No man eat fruit of thee hereafter for ever. And his disciples heard it" (Mark 11:14). You c...

The Holy Spirit Moves 1

By Revd 'Remi Tejumola Good day to you friend. Today, I want to share some of the things the Holy Spirit had done in my ministry in retrospect. This is meant to inspire you. God can use any believer in Christ to do these things and more. In fact Jesus puts it this way: John 14: 12-14 12 ¶ Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father. 13 And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. 14 If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it. Sometime, some people left the impression that the things that God used them to do is exclusive to them , but that is not really true. I know this is a strong statement, but it can never be stronger than what Jesus Christ, the Son of God, said above in John 14: 12. There is nothing that God had used someone else to do that He cannot use you to do - absolutely NOTHING! In fact, i...
