In the Word of God there are certain scriptures that gives clear expressions of the will of God that is not negotiable. The will of God in such dimension has only one condition or the believer will reap terrible consequences. The Bible says, "For this is the will of God, even your sanctification, that ye should abstain from fornication: That every one of you should know how to possess his vessel in sanctification and honour;" (1 Thessalonians 4:3-4). The will of God is clearly spelt out in this passage. It is non-negotiable. Let's look at another one: "For ye have need of patience, that, after ye have done the will of God, ye might receive the promise" (Hebrews 10: 36). There are two important aspects about the prayer of faith here. Once you've done the will of God, you will have to introduce patience into your faith stand. What is the will of God in prayer? According to Jesus, the will of God we are to carry out in prayer is for us to believe that we recieve the things desired, when we pray (Mark 11: 24). Again, the will of God is whatever God wants us to do, and how He wants it done. Jesus said, "For I came down from heaven, not to do mine own will, but the will of him that sent me" (John 6:38). In other words, He came to do what His Father wanted Him to do, nothing else. Are you doing what God wanted you to do and how He wanted it done? It's up to you to answer this question today. The Bible says, "But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves" (James 1: 22). In other words, if you're not a doer of the Word, you've just succeeded in deceiving yourself. Tillnext posting, God bless.
