The Christian who studies the Bible regularly is the one who experiences transformation in his life as the Bible declares in Romans 12:1-2.
We get exposed to the thoughts of God which are expressed all through the Bible. The thoughts are like hidden codes that gets passed to us as we study. A time will come when we will be shocked at our knowledge of God.
Through many years of Bible reading and study, I learnt that it's not only God who spoke in the Bible. Everyone spoke in there: God spoke, man spoke, angels spoke, the devil and demons spoke, and animals spoke. Even nature spoke at different times in there.
For this very reason, it is important that as we go through the Bible we should be able to differentiate between the speakers to know when actually God spoke, and when it's someone or something else.
There are several occasions when some people simply expressed their personal opinions. Among those who spoke, you will find the godly, the ungodly, the ones filled with the Holy Spirit and the ones who are demonised.
There are those in there that God spoke through, and there are those used by the devil.
In short, it's not everything you read in the Bible that God spoke. No, it's not. Others also spoke.
Take note of these points as you go through the Bible today.
Till next posting, God bless.
