The principle of the Prayer of Faith is one that many Christians have not taken enough time to study and understand. For this reason, they have not had good results with their prayer lives, especially where their needs are concerned. If you are in this category, please pay close attention to this teaching now.
Jesus said, "For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith. Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them" (Mark 11:23-24).
[Verse 23 teaches about Confession of Faith, and verse 24 explains how the Prayer of Faith works.]
In the Confession of Faith, you say something that you desired to happen, you say it the way you want it, you believe it in your heart that it will come to pass, it will happen in that exact way.
The Prayer of Faith works this way:
1. You desire something which you want God to do for you,
2. You ask God for it in Jesus' name,
3. At the same time when you pray, you believe in your heart, and confess with your mouth that you recieve the things you asked for,
and 4. You shall have it (it will manifest).
Even if you did not see immediate change your stand is to believe you have the things you asked for.
Jesus didn't ask you to believe that He's going to do it. He said that you should believe that you recieve what you prayed for when you pray.
Till next posting, God bless.
