The Prayer of Faith #3

By Revd 'Remi Tejumola

Jesus said, "Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them" (Mark 11:24). Untill this principle of operating in faith is understood, a lot of Christians will continue to make fruitless prayers.

Jesus words were simple and explicit. When you ask for whatever you desired, believe you recieve it, and you shall have it. This equally mean if you didn't believe you got it, you will never have it.

I found out that if you abide in Christ, and His Word abides in you, God will give you anything you ask for, and believe for - anything.

The important thing is that before you ask for anything, Jesus already has provided you with the answer about how you will know your prayers are heard. He said, When you pray about your desired needs, believe that you recieve them, and you shall have them.

Get this right now: it is what you believe about what you desire when you pray that will determine what happens. Jesus is telling us, in this passage, what to believe when you pray. He said, "... believe that you recieve them, and you shall have them." If you believe otherwise, you will never get them.

Mark 11:24 is the clearest teaching from the lips of Jesus on how to have your needs met, and how to get whatever it is you desire - spiritual, physical and material things. It's up to you and your faith.

So think about the things you consider as spiritual, physical and material. He has just shown you how to take possession of them.

Please, spend enough time going over this teaching till you undertand it.

Till next posting, God bless.

A Soldier Gone To Headquaters

By Revd 'Remi Tejumola Shalom! A senior friend just went home to be with the Lord, PASTOR PATRICK EZEKUDE OBAZE. He was aged 78 years old. I got to know him in 1985 after I became a part of the Faith Clinic which was founded by Rev. (Dr.) I.K.U. Ibeneme of blessed memory. Uncle 'Bobo' Obaze, as was fondly called by Dr. Ibeneme, was one of the numerous workers that the Faith Clinic had in those days in the mid-80s. All the workers came from different churches and ministries, and were of various ages and giftings. In spite of his age, He was simple and humble. He was easy to get along with, and very kind. He loved Jesus and was as excited about Him as anyone of us was who were much younger than he was. Like other workers of the ministry he was involved in deliverance ministrations. He often traveled with Dr. Ibeneme for outside ministrations. He also had a special love to minister the Holy Ghost baptism. He had great success in this area of ministry. I know it because I was a...

Whatever Happened To Personal Evangelism

Dear Friend, Good day to you. I wish to pass on to you today a message I have had in my inbox for almost 3years now as a kind of reminder to our purpose as the body of Christ. It is an article by Lee Grady, the editor of Charisma Magazine . Please read. God bless. -Revd 'Remi Tejumola   Whatever Happened to Personal Evangelism? We are not anointed by the Holy Spirit simply to have visions or feel spiritual goose bumps. It's time for us to re-embrace soul-winning.   My heart sank two weeks ago when I heard that Dr. D. James Kennedy had died at age 76 of complications from an earlier heart attack. Knowing that Jerry Falwell died in May, and considering that Billy Graham is not in good health, I wondered who could possibly replace these stalwart Christian statesmen.   The congenial Kennedy, who usually wore an austere clerical robe when he preached on his popular television broadcast, founded Coral Ridge Presbyterian Church in Fort Lauderdale 48 years ago. Yet ...

The Healing Presence #3

Revd 'Remi Tejumola Romans 8:11 11 But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you. There are a lot of truths embedded in this one verse, and I am not about to unveil all of them in this series of lessons. Just have this Word in mind, from the lips of Jesus, "And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free" (John 8:32). The condition in our main text (Romans 8:11) is predicated upon the dwelling presence of the Holy Spirit in the born-again Christian's life. In some measure, the power of the indwelling Spirit is pulsating thru the veins of every child of God, whether or not he realises it. God, our Father, by the Holy Spirit, is quickening or injecting life into our physical body. We need to be aware of this. In 1979, at a Kenneth Copeland's meeting, as Dr. Kenneth E. Hagin was preaching, his photographer took a...
