All Consuming Desire #6

By Revd 'Remi Tejumola

Jesus said, "Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire,
when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them"
(Mark 11:24). And the apostle Paul said, "... God, who quickeneth the
dead, and calleth those things which be not as though they were"
(Romans 4:17).

When you're taking the faith stand you behave like God and call things
which be not as though they were. A crippled person will call himself
healed. The same thing, a person with any other kind of disease. He
will say so because that's what he believes! The moment you ask God
for it, believe that He has done it for you - DONE! And that's what
you are to confess: God has done it and I have now (whatever it may
be). Praise God and thank Him.

Understand that faith and anxiety cannot co-exist, fear, unbelief and
faith cannot work together at all. Paul puts it this way, "Be careful
for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with
thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God" (Philippians
4:6). Be careful for nothing means, Do not worry or fret about
anything. This is divine order.

You must keep this in mind. Notice that Paul, by the Spirit of God,
said we're to make our requests known by prayer, supplication and
THANKSGIVING. He meant that if you're going to pray do away with
anxiety. The whole process of prayer till thanksgiving is a faith one.
You will thank God for the result before you will get to see it. It
means that God answers the prayer based on your act of faith, not just
because you pray, but because you prayed in faith: Believing that you
recieve the answer to your prayer the moment you pray with
thanksgiving.

For this person who prayed is not waiting for God to do something, but
by faith he considers the matter a done-deal! This is the faith that
brings result.

I will throw more light on this in the next post. God bless.

A Soldier Gone To Headquaters

By Revd 'Remi Tejumola Shalom! A senior friend just went home to be with the Lord, PASTOR PATRICK EZEKUDE OBAZE. He was aged 78 years old. I got to know him in 1985 after I became a part of the Faith Clinic which was founded by Rev. (Dr.) I.K.U. Ibeneme of blessed memory. Uncle 'Bobo' Obaze, as was fondly called by Dr. Ibeneme, was one of the numerous workers that the Faith Clinic had in those days in the mid-80s. All the workers came from different churches and ministries, and were of various ages and giftings. In spite of his age, He was simple and humble. He was easy to get along with, and very kind. He loved Jesus and was as excited about Him as anyone of us was who were much younger than he was. Like other workers of the ministry he was involved in deliverance ministrations. He often traveled with Dr. Ibeneme for outside ministrations. He also had a special love to minister the Holy Ghost baptism. He had great success in this area of ministry. I know it because I was a...

Re-visiting Faith #5

By Revd 'Remi Tejumola Shalom! One can spend a whole lifetime studying the subject of faith and one will continue to learn so many sides that are involved therein. Let's look at our main text again: Hebrews 11: 6 6 But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him. Diligence is an attribute and attitude of faith. There is a kind of seriousness that is attached to the Bible kind of faith which is why God demands diligence in the seeker. The dictionary defines the word "diligence" as "careful and conscientious" and the word "careful" as "paying close attention". The word "conscientious" is defined "been diligent with one's work" . I don't think this can be overly emphasised since it is the very basis and fabric of our relationship with the Most High God. You can just imagine why this faith business ...

All Consuming Desire #5

By Revd 'Remi Tejumola Jesus Christ, our Lord and Saviour really gave us the definition of faith in Mark 11:23-24. He showed us exactly what we need to do. So everytime we take the faith stand, what we believe matters. We can't say after we've prayed the prayer of faith, "I am expecting such and such from God." To do that is to get out of faith which will abort our prayer. You must believe that you have recieved what you asked for in prayer WHEN YOU PRAY, and then it will manifest. But if you want to wait untill you see it manifest, you will never get to see it. This is where B.U.S.H. comes in. Believe you have recieved Untill Something Happens (untill it manifest). Once you believe you have recieved, stay put in that mode - regardless of how you feel or what you've not seen or felt. Just believe it's done for you already. That's what will cause the manifestation! Jesus said, "Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, ...
