All Consuming Desire #9

By Revd 'Remi Tejumola

Take note of the following words, "What things soever", "All things",
"Whatsoever", "What you will", and "Everything". All of these words
came out of Jesus' mouth and they're all about us. Simply put, God
wants you to have whatever you want to have.

I learnt from God's Word that you can ask God for whatever good thing
you want from Him and get it. Some people, in their limited
understanding, said, "You can only get from God whatever He wants you
to have - not what you want!" Please note that the latter was an
addition: not what you want. God didn't say anything close to that.

It was added by those who said it in other to console themselves where
their needs went unmet.

God is glorified when He meets your needs and provides for you all the
good things you desire of Him.

A worship band was going to practice during a heavy downpour of rain
in their city. They prayed and trusted God to keep all their
equipments dry as they carried them in an open roof truck through the
city. Not a single drop of rain fell on the equipments! God kept His
end of the bargain as they trusted Him.

The rain began to fall long before they prayed. They moved into the
rain by faith and God honoured them. Faith works all the time and it's
not reasonable. Faith beats reason.

For as long as Peter kept away from reason or logic he walked on
water. But when logic got involved he began to sink while Jesus
remained standing on the same sea by faith. Faith and logic or reason
can't mix.

Remain blessed till next posting.

A Soldier Gone To Headquaters

By Revd 'Remi Tejumola Shalom! A senior friend just went home to be with the Lord, PASTOR PATRICK EZEKUDE OBAZE. He was aged 78 years old. I got to know him in 1985 after I became a part of the Faith Clinic which was founded by Rev. (Dr.) I.K.U. Ibeneme of blessed memory. Uncle 'Bobo' Obaze, as was fondly called by Dr. Ibeneme, was one of the numerous workers that the Faith Clinic had in those days in the mid-80s. All the workers came from different churches and ministries, and were of various ages and giftings. In spite of his age, He was simple and humble. He was easy to get along with, and very kind. He loved Jesus and was as excited about Him as anyone of us was who were much younger than he was. Like other workers of the ministry he was involved in deliverance ministrations. He often traveled with Dr. Ibeneme for outside ministrations. He also had a special love to minister the Holy Ghost baptism. He had great success in this area of ministry. I know it because I was a...

The Holy Spirit Moves 4

By Revd 'Remi Tejumola Shalom! The works of the Holy Spirit varies, no one knows it all. But it's so exciting when one finds out about them. I was part of the Faith Clinic team that travelled with Dr. I. K. U. Ibeneme to minister at a campmeeting, December 1985. It was a deliverance session with the church on the outskirt of Lagos State. Our method of ministry was to ask individuals what problem they have, and we minister accordingly. After I had prayed with several people, it came to the turn of a brother. I went thru the normal process of our ministration and he stuttered and said, 'I am a stammerer'. I was flabbergasted because at that moment I didn't know what to do. But I just said, 'In Jesus' name, I plead the blood. Be healed!' and I took off to another place. During the testimony time, the brother said in very clear words, 'You know me. . . ' and the place became wild with excitement and shouts of 'Hallelujah!' rended the air!...

Faith and the Will of God

By Revd 'Remi Tejumola Shalom! Where exactly in the prayer of faith can we find the will of God? The will of God means what GOD expects, requires and demands, to be done by you. Paul said in his epistle to the Hebrew Christians, "... ye have need of patience, that, after ye have done the will of God, ye might receive the promise" (Hebrews 10:36). It is after you've done the will of God that YOU will experience the fulfillment of the promise. The will of God for you when using Mark 11: 24 is that part where Jesus said, "... when ye pray, believe that you recieve them ..." . Once you miss this part, you would have wasted your time and prayer. The will of God in this verse deals with, 1. The time of your prayer WHEN YOU PRAY, and, 2. What you believe when YOU PRAY. The other important thing about your prayer life that goes with the matter of the will of God has to do with your life. You must be a person of godly character. You must fear God and treat other peo...
