Communion of the Holy Ghost #1

By Revd 'Remi Tejumola

The Apostle Paul, in his epistle to the church at Corinth, prayed, "The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Ghost, be with you all. Amen" (2 Corinthians 13:14). This prayer contained a couple of important truths we need to take note of: The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, the love of God and the communion of the the Holy Ghost.

Right now, I just want to dwell on the COMMUNION OF THE HOLY GHOST.

Every child of God has the God-given privilege of having presently in their lives the presence and person of the Holy Ghost (or Spirit). He got in there when the believer received Jesus Christ into his life as Saviour and Lord. According to the plan and purpose of the Almighty God the Father, He has been in that life since the moment he accepted Jesus.

Having Him in you is one thing, but having fellowship with the One who is in you is another thing entirely. It is a great thing to have Him in you and it is even wonderful to be in fellowship with Him. For your information, the word 'communion' also means 'fellowship', 'partnership' and 'friendship'. You can have the Holy Ghost as your friend.

One important thing about fellowship or friendship is that it needs to be developed and fostered in order for it to grow, and it is what you must do.

It is a settled matter that we have learnt that the Holy Ghost is resident in us individually. If you still have doubts about this truth you need to do more studies on the subject. (Read my books, The Holy Ghost Invasion, Holy Spirit my Resident Helper and, The Revelation of the Awesome Power of the Holy Spirit, to help you with this).

What you need to do as a believer is to first have a firm hold on this truth that the Holy Ghost is living in and with you now. Realize that the Almighty Father's plan is that He will always be with you in all situations. He is not going to leave because you will always need Him and He is always available to you. Then begin to talk to Him as if He's there with you because He is with you. Spend time alone to talk and share with Him. Have this truth in mind: "But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him" (Hebrews 11:6). This means that if you give Him all the diligence that it requires, friendship will be established between you and the Holy Ghost.

Till next posting, God bless.

A Soldier Gone To Headquaters

By Revd 'Remi Tejumola Shalom! A senior friend just went home to be with the Lord, PASTOR PATRICK EZEKUDE OBAZE. He was aged 78 years old. I got to know him in 1985 after I became a part of the Faith Clinic which was founded by Rev. (Dr.) I.K.U. Ibeneme of blessed memory. Uncle 'Bobo' Obaze, as was fondly called by Dr. Ibeneme, was one of the numerous workers that the Faith Clinic had in those days in the mid-80s. All the workers came from different churches and ministries, and were of various ages and giftings. In spite of his age, He was simple and humble. He was easy to get along with, and very kind. He loved Jesus and was as excited about Him as anyone of us was who were much younger than he was. Like other workers of the ministry he was involved in deliverance ministrations. He often traveled with Dr. Ibeneme for outside ministrations. He also had a special love to minister the Holy Ghost baptism. He had great success in this area of ministry. I know it because I was a...

Re-visiting Faith #5

By Revd 'Remi Tejumola Shalom! One can spend a whole lifetime studying the subject of faith and one will continue to learn so many sides that are involved therein. Let's look at our main text again: Hebrews 11: 6 6 But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him. Diligence is an attribute and attitude of faith. There is a kind of seriousness that is attached to the Bible kind of faith which is why God demands diligence in the seeker. The dictionary defines the word "diligence" as "careful and conscientious" and the word "careful" as "paying close attention". The word "conscientious" is defined "been diligent with one's work" . I don't think this can be overly emphasised since it is the very basis and fabric of our relationship with the Most High God. You can just imagine why this faith business ...

All Consuming Desire #5

By Revd 'Remi Tejumola Jesus Christ, our Lord and Saviour really gave us the definition of faith in Mark 11:23-24. He showed us exactly what we need to do. So everytime we take the faith stand, what we believe matters. We can't say after we've prayed the prayer of faith, "I am expecting such and such from God." To do that is to get out of faith which will abort our prayer. You must believe that you have recieved what you asked for in prayer WHEN YOU PRAY, and then it will manifest. But if you want to wait untill you see it manifest, you will never get to see it. This is where B.U.S.H. comes in. Believe you have recieved Untill Something Happens (untill it manifest). Once you believe you have recieved, stay put in that mode - regardless of how you feel or what you've not seen or felt. Just believe it's done for you already. That's what will cause the manifestation! Jesus said, "Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, ...
