No Limits: Deal with Doubts and Fears (Part 3)

By Revd 'Remi Tejumola

Mark 11:22-24
22 And Jesus answering saith unto them, Have faith in God.
23 For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.
24 Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.

2 Timothy 1:7
7 For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.

This truth cannot be overstated: God can do anything for you and He will go as far, for you, as you can believe Him for, according to His Word. How far are you willing to go, how much or how many things can you believe Him for. On several occasions in the Bible, when people came to Jesus for miracles, He would tell them, "Be it unto you according to YOUR FAITH!" In fact, I understand that most people that got healed under the earthly ministry of Jesus got it through their faith. Faith is of the essence all the time. Most people that got healed today got it by their faith.

Right now I want to deal with two related issues that you need to eliminate from your life so that you can really exercise real faith which will bring you desired results: Doubt and Fear.

Many believers can quote off-hand the entire faith verses I have as our texts in this lesson without opening the Bible. This shows they are very familiar with the passage. Yet, a lot of times in trying to exercise their faith they have missed a few important details of the passage. Here it is again, but this time notice the emphasis:

Mark 11:22-24
22 And Jesus answering saith unto them, Have faith in God.
23 For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; AND SHALL NOT DOUBT IN HIS HEART, but shall believe (IN HIS HEART) that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.
24 Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe (IN YOUR HEART) that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.

Faith in God is a heart thing just as true love is a heart matter. Faith is never found in the mind, it's always in the heart. Jesus said in this passage that DOUBT must be absent from YOUR HEART whenever you want to exercise faith in God for anything.

Doubts many times arises because of the fears that people entertain which are are a result of pictures of thoughts painted in their minds through all sorts of things which people have said, their experiences in life and the kind of preachers they have listened to who told them a lot of untrue things. They have dwelled long enough on these thoughts and they've gained entrance into their hearts. Anytime this happens it becomes hard to deal with, but not impossible to deal with.

There's a saying which goes like this: Feed your faith and starve your doubt. How can one do this? Number one: Stop listening to such thoughts and people that feeds you with fears and doubts, eg, 'God does not heal today, even if He heals are you sure He would heal you? God will not come down from heaven to meet your needs.' You may have to stop going to some churches where such preachers are. Stop listening to pastors or preachers and motivational speakers who teaches that 'everything happens for a reason.' They will rob you of your faith if you continue to listen to them.

Number two: Feed on the Word of God, the Bible verses that are relevant to your situation. Read them to yourself constantly. Don't rush into prayer. If you still have fears that you may not have your needs met. Get rid of the fear. The Bible says that fear didn't come from God. So where did it come from? The devil! Get rid of it. Say, Fear, I resist you in the name of Jesus! Go from me now! And it will. Then go back to God's Word relevant to your situation and intensify your reading, studying and meditation on it.

Thank God that ministries such as Kenneth E. Hagin's, Kenneth Copeland, Norvel Hayes, Charles and Frances Hunter have books you can buy and study that will really help your faith to get properly built up so that you will always get your needs met. Get their books on Prayer, Faith and Healing.

I join the group of those that want you to have your needs met: God, Jesus, The Holy Spirit, Angels in heaven, Kenneth E. Hagin, Kenneth Copeland, Norvel Hayes, Charles and Frances Hunter, and all others along these lines. Your needs can be met today.

Till next posting, God bless.

A Soldier Gone To Headquaters

By Revd 'Remi Tejumola Shalom! A senior friend just went home to be with the Lord, PASTOR PATRICK EZEKUDE OBAZE. He was aged 78 years old. I got to know him in 1985 after I became a part of the Faith Clinic which was founded by Rev. (Dr.) I.K.U. Ibeneme of blessed memory. Uncle 'Bobo' Obaze, as was fondly called by Dr. Ibeneme, was one of the numerous workers that the Faith Clinic had in those days in the mid-80s. All the workers came from different churches and ministries, and were of various ages and giftings. In spite of his age, He was simple and humble. He was easy to get along with, and very kind. He loved Jesus and was as excited about Him as anyone of us was who were much younger than he was. Like other workers of the ministry he was involved in deliverance ministrations. He often traveled with Dr. Ibeneme for outside ministrations. He also had a special love to minister the Holy Ghost baptism. He had great success in this area of ministry. I know it because I was a...

Whatever Happened To Personal Evangelism

Dear Friend, Good day to you. I wish to pass on to you today a message I have had in my inbox for almost 3years now as a kind of reminder to our purpose as the body of Christ. It is an article by Lee Grady, the editor of Charisma Magazine . Please read. God bless. -Revd 'Remi Tejumola   Whatever Happened to Personal Evangelism? We are not anointed by the Holy Spirit simply to have visions or feel spiritual goose bumps. It's time for us to re-embrace soul-winning.   My heart sank two weeks ago when I heard that Dr. D. James Kennedy had died at age 76 of complications from an earlier heart attack. Knowing that Jerry Falwell died in May, and considering that Billy Graham is not in good health, I wondered who could possibly replace these stalwart Christian statesmen.   The congenial Kennedy, who usually wore an austere clerical robe when he preached on his popular television broadcast, founded Coral Ridge Presbyterian Church in Fort Lauderdale 48 years ago. Yet ...

The Healing Presence #3

Revd 'Remi Tejumola Romans 8:11 11 But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you. There are a lot of truths embedded in this one verse, and I am not about to unveil all of them in this series of lessons. Just have this Word in mind, from the lips of Jesus, "And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free" (John 8:32). The condition in our main text (Romans 8:11) is predicated upon the dwelling presence of the Holy Spirit in the born-again Christian's life. In some measure, the power of the indwelling Spirit is pulsating thru the veins of every child of God, whether or not he realises it. God, our Father, by the Holy Spirit, is quickening or injecting life into our physical body. We need to be aware of this. In 1979, at a Kenneth Copeland's meeting, as Dr. Kenneth E. Hagin was preaching, his photographer took a...
