                                               The Truth about Our Faith
                                                 By Revd 'Remi Tejumola

The Christian life began in faith and continues in faith. The Word of God says that God has dealt to every man 'the measure of faith', and that the 'Just shall live by his faith.' The walk of faith never does come to an end. It continues for the rest of our Christian life, especially when we realize that's what God requires of us.

THE MEASURE OF FAITH is dealt to individual Christians at the point where the Gospel message is presented to him and he believes it and receives Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour. This faith secures eternal salvation for that believer. (But he's not expected to end there, that's just the beginning point). Sadly, a lot of believers stop right here in their faith walk because their pastors did not know that they needed to be taken further in their walk of faith in other areas, for there are other areas of faith for them to learn about and build their lives upon. One of those areas has to do with how to pray and get God to answer their prayers by faith - especially to meet their daily needs and to get healed when sicknesses or diseases shows up and get baptized in the Holy Ghost.

FAITH FOR DAILY PROVISION is developed in the individual Christian when he learnt through the Word of God that he now have God as his Father who is more than willing to provide his daily needs (Philippians 4:19). Once he gets acquainted with His Word in this regard, he will have faith in his Heavenly Father who will respond and start providing for him supernaturally everything he needs and every good thing he wants! (John 16:23-24). This encourages the believer to live excitedly for Christ. Jesus had not only died for their sins, He has also provided a way for all their needs and all their wants to be met by God, their loving Heavenly Father!

Jesus, our Lord, gave us certain assurances that we can rely on to move ahead in our faith walk, one of which is found in John 15:7. He said, "If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you." In other words, the things that I am sharing right now does not work automatically. There are certain conditions involved: you have to abide in Christ and His Word must abide and be ruling in your life, then you will be qualified to ask for whatever you want from God and get them! When these conditions are met you will always ask and pray for the things you want and desire according to the will of God and He will provide!

I am sharing this important truth in order for you to get some things very clear: God provides for those who exercises faith in Him for their every need and their every want, be it spiritual, physical and/or material. He provides! He provides food, clothing, transportation (bicycle, cars, boats and other kinds of vehicles including airplanes, healing, miracles and deliverance. He provides divine protection, money and divine health. He baptizes His people in the Holy Ghost and also give them spiritual gifts. God can, and He has been providing these things for His people who have faith in Him for them! There's no limit to what you can ask and believe Him for! I know that some of you are really shocked by the things I am sharing here, but it's true! The reason you're shocked is because you were not taught this before now, but it's true!

I want you to spend some time to meditate on these scriptures:

Matthew 6:25-34
25 Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life more than meat, and the body than raiment?
26 Behold the fowls of the air: for they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feedeth them. Are ye not much better than they?
27 Which of you by taking thought can add one cubit unto his stature?
28 And why take ye thought for raiment? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow; they toil not, neither do they spin:
29 And yet I say unto you, That even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these.
30 Wherefore, if God so clothe the grass of the field, which to day is, and to morrow is cast into the oven, shall he not much more clothe you, O ye of little faith?
31 Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed?
32 (For after all these things do the Gentiles seek:) for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things.
33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.
34 Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.

Mark 11:24
24 Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.

Ephesians 3:20
20 Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us.

These words came out of the mouth of Jesus Christ our Lord and Saviour! That's what you need to be very aware of. Jesus always say things that are in accordance to the will of God. Living a holy life is not the only will of God, having your needs met and providing the things you desire are also His will for you.

People have prayed and asked God for shoes, clothes, food, houses, vehicles, protection, healing, miracles in their bodies, and aeroplanes  and He has given them. It takes faith to get things from God! And you can only have faith when you know from His Word that He wants you to have all those things, the reason you need to read, study and meditate on the Word of the Living God — the Bible.

A Soldier Gone To Headquaters

By Revd 'Remi Tejumola Shalom! A senior friend just went home to be with the Lord, PASTOR PATRICK EZEKUDE OBAZE. He was aged 78 years old. I got to know him in 1985 after I became a part of the Faith Clinic which was founded by Rev. (Dr.) I.K.U. Ibeneme of blessed memory. Uncle 'Bobo' Obaze, as was fondly called by Dr. Ibeneme, was one of the numerous workers that the Faith Clinic had in those days in the mid-80s. All the workers came from different churches and ministries, and were of various ages and giftings. In spite of his age, He was simple and humble. He was easy to get along with, and very kind. He loved Jesus and was as excited about Him as anyone of us was who were much younger than he was. Like other workers of the ministry he was involved in deliverance ministrations. He often traveled with Dr. Ibeneme for outside ministrations. He also had a special love to minister the Holy Ghost baptism. He had great success in this area of ministry. I know it because I was a...

The Holy Spirit Moves 4

By Revd 'Remi Tejumola Shalom! The works of the Holy Spirit varies, no one knows it all. But it's so exciting when one finds out about them. I was part of the Faith Clinic team that travelled with Dr. I. K. U. Ibeneme to minister at a campmeeting, December 1985. It was a deliverance session with the church on the outskirt of Lagos State. Our method of ministry was to ask individuals what problem they have, and we minister accordingly. After I had prayed with several people, it came to the turn of a brother. I went thru the normal process of our ministration and he stuttered and said, 'I am a stammerer'. I was flabbergasted because at that moment I didn't know what to do. But I just said, 'In Jesus' name, I plead the blood. Be healed!' and I took off to another place. During the testimony time, the brother said in very clear words, 'You know me. . . ' and the place became wild with excitement and shouts of 'Hallelujah!' rended the air!...

Faith and the Will of God

By Revd 'Remi Tejumola Shalom! Where exactly in the prayer of faith can we find the will of God? The will of God means what GOD expects, requires and demands, to be done by you. Paul said in his epistle to the Hebrew Christians, "... ye have need of patience, that, after ye have done the will of God, ye might receive the promise" (Hebrews 10:36). It is after you've done the will of God that YOU will experience the fulfillment of the promise. The will of God for you when using Mark 11: 24 is that part where Jesus said, "... when ye pray, believe that you recieve them ..." . Once you miss this part, you would have wasted your time and prayer. The will of God in this verse deals with, 1. The time of your prayer WHEN YOU PRAY, and, 2. What you believe when YOU PRAY. The other important thing about your prayer life that goes with the matter of the will of God has to do with your life. You must be a person of godly character. You must fear God and treat other peo...
