#TheOnlyPrayer: Apostle Oluremi Tejumola

Demons (evil spirits) cannot die, will never die, no matter what anyone have told you. They cannot die by fire, thunder or any other thing. Not even the name of Jesus will kill them! It's never in God's plan. Their judgement is already fixed and they know that and are afraid!

However, if your life is been lived in submission to God, you can resist, rebuke, bind and cast them out of your affairs through the use of the name of Jesus (Mark 16:18; Luke 10:19; James 4:7).

In the same vein, let me tell you: praying for the dead have no effect (NO EFFECT) at all! No matter the amount of time you spend praying for them, no matter how much love you have for them. They are gone, either to heaven or to hell!

The ONLY PRAYER that works is the prayer of resurrection which can only be done by born-again Christians. Jesus Christ authorized all born-again Christians, who are His disciples, to raise the dead.

Over the years, dead people have been raised from hell and from heaven. Hear this, those who came back from hell were so glad, and those that were returned from heaven weren't glad at all!

Those who were in hell were been tormented with the fires of hell, and those who were in heaven were enjoying eternal bliss, gladness and joy right there in the presence of the Almighty God, Jesus, the Angels of God and saints who lived for Jesus while alive in this world!

Acts 20:7-12
7 And upon the first day of the week, when the disciples came together to break bread, Paul preached unto them, ready to depart on the morrow; and continued his speech until midnight.
8 And there were many lights in the upper chamber, where they were gathered together.
9 And there sat in a window a certain young man named Eutychus, being fallen into a deep sleep: and as Paul was long preaching, he sunk down with sleep, and fell down from the third loft, and was taken up dead.
10 And Paul went down, and fell on him, and embracing him said, Trouble not yourselves; for his life is in him.
11 When he therefore was come up again, and had broken bread, and eaten, and talked a long while, even till break of day, so he departed.
12 And they brought the young man alive, and were not a little comforted.

When born-again Christians (who knows the Word of the Living God) prays, God raises the dead! One man heard the Gospel preached by a persistent believer many times and he wouldn't listen. One day that believer in Jesus heard that the man died. So, he said that this is just the right time to raise him from the dead since now he knows the truth — the reality of hell. When he was alive he wouldn't listen. To cut the long story short, the believer raised that man from the dead, and he now believes!

Some believers have raised people back from the dead in the course of evangelism. In the very early days of the ministry of the late Archbishop Benson Idahosa, he raised a boy back to life in the family of sister Margaret who later became his wife (Archbishop Margaret Idahosa). You can read the full account from his book, Fire in His Bones.

Doctors have also resuscitated some patients who gave up and died on operation tables (they had near-death experiences) and when they came back to life NEVER lived carelessly again! They know that there is life after death either in heaven or hell! The only way (on a final note) that anyone can escape hell and go to heaven is by giving one's life to Jesus Christ while alive here on earth! Did you hear that? Think quickly about this and accept Jesus today as your saviour and Lord!

A Soldier Gone To Headquaters

By Revd 'Remi Tejumola Shalom! A senior friend just went home to be with the Lord, PASTOR PATRICK EZEKUDE OBAZE. He was aged 78 years old. I got to know him in 1985 after I became a part of the Faith Clinic which was founded by Rev. (Dr.) I.K.U. Ibeneme of blessed memory. Uncle 'Bobo' Obaze, as was fondly called by Dr. Ibeneme, was one of the numerous workers that the Faith Clinic had in those days in the mid-80s. All the workers came from different churches and ministries, and were of various ages and giftings. In spite of his age, He was simple and humble. He was easy to get along with, and very kind. He loved Jesus and was as excited about Him as anyone of us was who were much younger than he was. Like other workers of the ministry he was involved in deliverance ministrations. He often traveled with Dr. Ibeneme for outside ministrations. He also had a special love to minister the Holy Ghost baptism. He had great success in this area of ministry. I know it because I was a...

The Holy Spirit Moves 4

By Revd 'Remi Tejumola Shalom! The works of the Holy Spirit varies, no one knows it all. But it's so exciting when one finds out about them. I was part of the Faith Clinic team that travelled with Dr. I. K. U. Ibeneme to minister at a campmeeting, December 1985. It was a deliverance session with the church on the outskirt of Lagos State. Our method of ministry was to ask individuals what problem they have, and we minister accordingly. After I had prayed with several people, it came to the turn of a brother. I went thru the normal process of our ministration and he stuttered and said, 'I am a stammerer'. I was flabbergasted because at that moment I didn't know what to do. But I just said, 'In Jesus' name, I plead the blood. Be healed!' and I took off to another place. During the testimony time, the brother said in very clear words, 'You know me. . . ' and the place became wild with excitement and shouts of 'Hallelujah!' rended the air!...

Faith and the Will of God

By Revd 'Remi Tejumola Shalom! Where exactly in the prayer of faith can we find the will of God? The will of God means what GOD expects, requires and demands, to be done by you. Paul said in his epistle to the Hebrew Christians, "... ye have need of patience, that, after ye have done the will of God, ye might receive the promise" (Hebrews 10:36). It is after you've done the will of God that YOU will experience the fulfillment of the promise. The will of God for you when using Mark 11: 24 is that part where Jesus said, "... when ye pray, believe that you recieve them ..." . Once you miss this part, you would have wasted your time and prayer. The will of God in this verse deals with, 1. The time of your prayer WHEN YOU PRAY, and, 2. What you believe when YOU PRAY. The other important thing about your prayer life that goes with the matter of the will of God has to do with your life. You must be a person of godly character. You must fear God and treat other peo...
