The Gifts Of God

THE RIGHTEOUS ONE [Part 2] BY REVD 'REMI TEJUMOLA I’M RIGHTEOUS! I visited a Christian sister in her beauty shop in 1988. That day she had a lot of women which came to have their hairs done. I thought it was an opportunity for me to witness to them. Conversing with the owner of the shop, I said in a loud voice, “Aunty, did you know that I am righteous?!” My, I got everyone’s attention! A woman, under a hair-dryer, with almost red eyes, shouted, “NO ONE IS RIGHTEOUS!” I replied, “I AM!” And I proceeded to try and explain what I meant [as explained earlier], but she wouldn’t hear it. Her mind was made up, “No one is righteous”. You may be like that, thinking that no one is righteous. But there are people today who are righteous: those who are in right-standing-with-God through their faith in Christ Jesus. Really, if you are a believer like that, then you are righteous by the grace of God alone. One important truth however is that there’s no way anyone can be a righteous person and a

The Gifts Of God

THE RIGHTEOUS ONE BY REVD ‘REMI TEJUMOLA ROMANS 5: 17-19 NKJV 17 For if by the one man’s offence death reigned through the one, much more those who receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness will reign in life through the One, Jesus Christ. 18 Therefore, as through one man’s offence judgment came to all men, resulting in condemnation, even so through one Man’s righteous act the free gift came to all men, resulting in justification of life. 19 For as by one man’s disobedience many Were made sinners, so also by one Man’s obedience many will be made righteous. The Chambers dictionary defines the word ‘gift’ as ‘something freely given’. In the Bible, we found out that there are various kinds of ‘gifts’ that God gives. In spiritual terminology, some of these gifts fall under the category of endowments or divine abilities. But here, in this teaching we will concentrate on ‘some things freely given’ by the Almighty God. All the time gifts are given at no cost to recipients

Positioning For Divine Touch

THOSE GOD RECKONS WITH BY REV’D ‘REMI TEJUMOLA One of the greatest lessons any human-being or Christian must learn is that God doesn’t make mistakes, neither does He respect persons as some people believe. What I’m in fact saying is that things don’t just happen to people by chance or luck. (Think about this for awhile). If you’ve been observant at church services or miracle services where God worked wonderful things in the life of people, you would have wondered why some people seem to miss out of what God is doing. In this message today, I want to address this very issue. So, I implore you to please take a close look at this message. It may change your life for good. Anyway, it’s supposed to. A minister of the Gospel of 66 years standing in ministry, said, “One of the best ways to know what something is, is to find out what it is not.” I want to make use of these wise words to say this: I do not know why some things don’t happen for some people, so I’ll look for the reason why God

The Holy Spirit

The Holy Ghost Baptism (Part 3) BY REVD 'REMI TEJUMOLA (Acts 2: 1-13; Acts 10: 44-48) In water baptism, a person is immersed or fully dipped into water; the water covered you just like when a person is buried in a grave. In the Holy Ghost baptism, Jesus dips the believer into the Holy Ghost; and the person becomes empowered to serve Jesus. Let us see the first New Testament account, after the resurrection of Christ: ACTS 2: 1-4 1 And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place. 2 And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as f a mighty rushing wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting. 3 And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them. 4 And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance. The 4th verse here describes the normal experience of all those who have been baptized in the Holy Ghost: they were filled with th

The Holy Spirit

THE HOLY SPIRIT BAPTISM (PART 2) BY REVD ‘REMI TEJUMOLA The Holy Spirit baptism I spoke about is carried out by Jesus. He does use human beings like you to do it. The Prophet, John the Baptist, prophetically announced that Jesus is the One who baptizes in the Holy Spirit (Matthew 3: 11). Please keep this in mind as we go on. Jesus is the Baptizer in the Holy Spirit and He has been doing this for about 2,000 years. One point I closed with over a week ago is that this experience is available only to those who have been born-again. This is the basic requirement from God. A born-again person is someone who has repented from sin and has received forgiveness and cleansing from it by the blood of Jesus Christ. While Peter was preaching on that day of Pentecost, he said, “Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, AND YE SHALL RECEIVE THE GIFT OF THE HOLY GHOST. For the PROMISE is unto you, and to your children, and to all that afar off, eve

Revival Report

GOOD REPORTS AND TESTIMONY By Revd "Remi Tejumola A very pleasant day to you, my friends. I've just returned from a very powerful Holy Ghost Meeting at RCCG Christ Ambassadors Assembly Parish in Port Harcourt. The people there were very receptive, and so the Lord was glorified. There were salvation of souls, healings and other great moves of the Holy Spirit. The people there were so hungry for the Word of God that I was just teaching and teaching. Even the pastor, his wife, his sister-in-law, children and mother were very very receptive and they all got blessed! Glory be to God for ever! They were a people prepared. How I wish that you were there. The picture above is that of my Host and his wife - a very sweet and caring couple, Pastor & Mrs. Chike Ogbonda. I had to restrict myself from eating too much. They were going to show my wife that they cared for me! Some days ago, I promised to post a particular testimony. I'll give that to you now, and by tomorrow, I will co
