God's Will 606 #2

By Revd 'Remi Tejumola The will of God for the new believer and the existing one is, "... be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God" (Romans 12:2). The responsibility for the renewal of your mind is first and foremost yours as a believer. Untill you take it up God cannot help you. To help you understand how important this is, let me share one of many testimonies with you: There are some people who are pure illiterates that God gave the ability to read and understand the Bible as soon as they got born-again, and that is the only book they've been able to read. It wasn't a matter of recieving a spiritual gift. They still need to read the Bible so as not to remain ignorant of God's Will for their lives just as you and I need to know His Will. The thoughts I'm sharing with you now did not start a few days or months ago. It started over 20years ago. So don't discount this t

God's Will 606 #1

By Revd 'Remi Tejumola "I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God" (Romans 12: 1-2). Shalom! A Christian's life is supposed to be governed, influenced and ruled by the will of God. Notice that there are three aspects to the will of God and you can't prove any one of it without a renewed mind. When your mind is renewed, the knowledge of the will of God will become established in you, and you can then live by it. 1. There is the good will of God. 2. There is the acceptable will of God. 3. There is the perfect will of God. Let me illustrate this with just one example: 1. We can go to church anywhere. This falls within the good will of God. 2. We can decide which church we want to

The Holy Spirit #9

By Revd 'Remi Tejumola "And God wrought special miracles by the hands of Paul: So that from his body were brought unto the sick handkerchiefs or aprons, and the diseases departed from them, and the evil spirits went out of them" Acts 19:11-12). Shalom! Great day to you. Our text above also speaks a volume just like the one about Peter in my last posting. The reason they were so used was not because they were so good. They were available and were willing to do the will of God so He used them. The Holy Spirit's presence in your life is a divine investment. The Holy Spirit's power is in you as well as His person. You have a Treasure in you right now! Some people are looking for power; but you have the power because you are a child of God, a born-again Christian. You have running through your veins the resurrection power of the Holy Spirit. It is the same power that raised Jesus from the dead (Romans 8: 11). I want you to think deep about these truths you're reci

The Holy Spirit #8

By Revd 'Remi Tejumola Shalom! There's a chorus that we used to sing at the ministry where I used to work. 'My hands are blessed With the blessings of God 2ce Everyone I touch Surely must be blessed Everything I touch Surely must be blessed My hands are filled With the blessings of God.' A lady took this song home and began to lay hands on everyone as she sang it, and all kinds of things began to happen to people. One person got healed the moment she touched him. Why did I share this story? Since your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit, He is in you now. Every part of your body is holy and is emitting the power of God - even though you may not be feeling it. The power of God is there all the time. It's this same thing that obtained in the life of the Apostle Peter: Acts 5: 15 15 ... they brought forth the sick into the streets, and laid them on beds and couches, that at the least the shadow of Peter passing by might overshadow some of them. It was both because of

The Holy Spirit #7

By Revd 'Remi Tejumola Shalom! One man of God spent a great deal of time meditating on some of the Bible passages I've been using to teach on the Holy Spirit, when suddenly he began to recieve the rhema on them. He shouted, 'God lives in me now! His legs are in my legs, His arms are in my arms, as I walk, He walks, His head is in my head!' You would have thought he's gone crazy, and he was like you would be when you recieve such rhema. Everything that man of God said about the Holy Spirit is true about every child of God. When it comes to divine manifestation, there are times when you will feel as if the Holy Spirit had just walked into your body. But it's just a demonstration of His presence. He lives in you. When you get to that place in your walk with God where you are totally aware of His presence in your life, you will no longer depend on your feelings to determine whether or not the Holy Spirit is with you. You will always know. We've been taught to i

The Holy Spirit #6

By Revd 'Remi Tejumola Shalom! The Holy Spirit lives in the body of the born-again Christian. The Bible says, "What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?" (1 Corinthians 6:19). The home of the Holy Spirit here on earth is the body of the believer. Imagine your body been the residential address of the Holy Spirit. The believer need not look far for Him. He lives in His temple. A temple is a place dedicated to the worship and service of God. So if He is going to speak to you where did you think He's gonna do it from? From inside His temple - from the inside of you. The Holy Spirit in you is capable of doing anything. Phillip went to the desert in obedience to the Lord's leading, and when Phillip was through with his assignment, the Bible says, "And when they were come up out of the water, the Spirit of the Lord caught away Philip, that the eunuch saw him no more: and he went

The Holy Spirit #5

By Revd 'Remi Tejumola Shalom! The moment you successfully reach that place of total awareness of the presence and Person of the Holy Spirit in your life, the story of your life will become different. The temptations will still be there, but you will have with you the only Person that can really help you out. In a deep sense, when you become totally aware of Him, you will almost feel His presence right where you are because the Holy Spirit is actually there with you. It is not a con job that I am doing here. It is a lot more than a make-believe thing. It is the truth. After the Lord revealed Himself to Jacob, the Bible says, "And Jacob awaked out of his sleep, and he said, Surely the LORD is in this place; and I knew it not" (Genesis 28:16). God the Holy Spirit is with you right where you are now. Give some thoughts to these verses: Isaiah 26: 3-4 3 Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee. 4 Trust ye in the LORD for

The Holy Spirit #4

By Revd 'Remi Tejumola Shalom! The Holy Spirit is real - very real. In 1996 the Lord showed me that God wants all of us His people to be totally aware of the presence of the Holy Spirit. Total awareness is what God is asking for from His people. According to the truth of the Scriptures, the Holy Spirit has been placed in the life of all born-again Christians. The meaning of this is that everyday, everywhere and everytime, the Holy Spirit stays with us. Whether you are awake or asleep the Holy Spirit is with you. Jesus, in His promise to the disciples said that the Holy Spirit will abide with you for ever (John 14: 16). Again, this means that the Holy Spirit is with you both when you are asleep and when you are awake every moment of everyday and everytime. You have to let this truth sink into both of your consciousness and your sub-consciousness. This truth has to rule your life. Whether you feel His presence or not, the Holy Spirit is with you. You need to have this settled in your

The Holy Spirit #3

By Revd 'Remi Tejumola Shalom! The Bible says, "While Peter thought on the vision, the Spirit said unto him, Behold, three men seek thee. Arise therefore, and get thee down, and go with them, doubting nothing: for I have sent them" (Acts 10:19-20). The Holy Spirit is a person who speaks. He has His own voice with which He speaks. When He speaks to you, His voice will be heard. Jesus said, on several occasions, "He that has ear to hear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches.&quot The Holy Spirit speaks in different ways: 1. By inward revelation (Romans 8: 14-16). 2. By the Word of God - a rhema "And Jesus answered and said unto him, Blessed art thou, Simon Barjona: for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but my Father which is in heaven" (Matthew 16:17). 3. He speaks through the revelations of dreams and visions. 4. He speaks through His own authoritative voice. 5. He speaks by the presence or absence of peace (Colossians 3: 16)

The Holy Spirit #2

By Revd 'Remi Tejumola Shalom! The Holy Spirit has a form like that of a man. The difference is that He is a spirit being, not a physical person, and He is invisible. This means that if He did not reveal Himself to you, you may not know that He is with you. Spirits cannot be seen with the naked eyes. Yet the Holy Spirit is able to manifest His presence in such a way that you will be so sure and certain that He's there with you. Acts 2: 2-4 2 And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting. 3 And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them. 4 And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance . In my recent ministration at a church in Ibadan, where I ministered about the Holy Spirit, the Lord manifested His presence with signs, wonders and miracles. It was an awesome sunday service over a week a

The Holy Spirit #1

By Revd 'Remi Tejumola Shalom! There has been a lot of teachings about the Holy Spirit made over the years in order to bring the people of God into that place of intimacy with Him. The apostle Paul prayed that "... the communion of the Holy Ghost be with you all" (2 Corinthians 13: 14). In other words, he prayed for us to know the Holy Spirit as our Friend. The name Comforter also mean Friend. God has sent the Holy Spirit here on earth into our lives to be our Friend. Having the Holy Spirit in our lives as Friend is a great thing because He is God just like the Almighty Father. Imagine you and God taking a walk together with, holding hands and chatting along as close friends. This is what God desires regarding all of us believers in Christ Jesus. It could be a very exciting experience for each one of us if we really desire it. The Holy Spirit has already been given to you since the day you accepted Jesus as your Saviour and Lord. It's now up to you to make a move tow

Revelation Knowledge #2

By Revd 'Remi Tejumola Shalom! My approach on this topic is to help both new and old Christians in recognising how God leads them by the Holy Spirit in their lives. Revelations from the Holy Spirit consists of the past, the present and the future. Once you give the Word of God first place in your life, becoming very studious and acting on the Word, the Holy Spirit will begin to give you revelation knowledge of the Word and the other sources of revelations of the Holy Spirit comes through His spiritual gifts: the Word of Knowledge, and the Word of Wisdom. God will begin to show you mysteries of His kingdom, His Word and the mysteries of peoples' lives. You will learn wisdom, and God will begin to use you to minister His Word to others. God spoke to Timothy through the apostle Paul, "Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth" (2 Timothy 2:15). The depth of the knowledge of God's Word separa

Revelation Knowledge #1

By Revd 'Remi Tejumola Shalom! There is another kind of rhema that God gives that is similar to that which I spoke about in my last posting. They both manifests the same way. One is derived from the Word of God under study, and the other comes directly from the Holy Spirit. The work of a Bible teacher is similar to what the Holy Spirit does in opening up the Word. Jesus said that the Holy Spirit will teach you all things. He is able to reveal a truth to you in a second which can take you a whole week to put down in your notebook. There is a rhema the Holy Spirit gives that does not depend on the knowledge of the Word, it just reveals to you what God wants you to know. For instance, if you desire to know how God speaks and guide His people, then spend some time meditating on His Word, (familiarise yourself with it), and when the rhema starts coming you would have recognised how He guides through inward revelation in your heart - the same way revelation of the Word comes. If you foll

The Rhema

By Revd 'Remi Tejumola Shalom! The Greek word 'Rhema' means 'revealed knowledge'. It also means, 'exact knowledge'. Rhema is when God opens up His Word to us and we're given great understanding and depth in His Word on any subject. As long as we lack the revelation knowledge of the Word of God, all we would have will just be theories and head knowledge. People have asked me many times, How should I study the Bible? The first thing is to read it. You can start from Genesis or Matthew. Just read it through to get the general idea. You can do this as many times as you possibly can. The next thing is for you to study it in order to know in specific terms what it says. If you have a good study Bible, you can use the index and concordance to study it topically. Then whatever lesson you learnt during your study, prayerfully take time to meditate on the truth. Given enough time, God will begin to open up the Word to you on whatever topic you're meditating on

Daily Bread

By Revd 'Remi Tejumola Shalom! Among the important points that Jesus taught His disciples to pray in what we termed Our Lord's Prayer is "Give us this day our daily bread" (Matthew 6:11). Todays teaching is meant to challenge us to do something very revolutionary with our Christian life. On the way to the promised land, God fed His people, the Israelites, with manna everyday of their journey till they got to the promised land. Jesus said we should ask for daily bread. All that the Israelites did was complained about not having food to eat. They didn't have to work for it. The daily bread included in the Lord's Prayer is not what you are expected to work for. God will provide you with it, if you ask for it. Please think about this offer from the lips of Jesus. I am not in anyway encouraging laziness here. Would Jesus teach us to ask for what God will not provide? A miracle a day can be your experience as you begin to ask and believe God for a miraculous provis

Authority CODE 101

By Revd 'Remi Tejumola Shalom! Most times when people hear the Word taught, they are filled with excitement, and they want to go out immediately practice, and live it. But when it comes to matters of our personal lives and challenges we need to have a kind of depth in the Word. Our knowledge of God's will in such matters must not be shallow. It must be sound and deep. The way to achieve this is mentioned here in the book of Joshua: Joshua 1: 8 8 This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success. You need to feed upon the Word untill you know that you know what the will of God is - even though you may be facing a challenge that you want to get out of as fast as you can. You don't want to rush and act on the Word because if you don't work it right, you will not only

Authority CODE 101

By Revd 'Remi Tejumola Shalom! You don't have to accept things that you don't like. You don't have to accept defeat where your life is concerned. If, peradventure you were born with a certain defect, you don't have to accept it as God's will for your life. The fact that you have defect is a proof of satan's work in corrupting and manipulating the genes in man so that he could convince human beings that God made them the way they are. Once a person is convinced that God made him the way he is, he will find it difficult to believe the same God would heal him. When God originally made Adam and Eve, there was not a single defect in them untill sin got in thru their disobedience to God's Word. They had not made babies then. Babies began to come after they sinned against God, and satan became the god of this world. This is why some children are born with one deformity or the other. The devil began to use Adam's authority to rule over mankind and all the ea

God's Demand of You

By Revd 'Remi Tejumola Shalom! These are God's expectations of you which are expressed throughout the Scriptures. There is one key verse that sums it all up: Hebrews 11: 6 6 But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him. God expects you to come expectantly to Him knowing that He will give you something everytime you come to Him. That is what this verse says. You must believe that He is, and will reward the diligent seeker. 1. When you pray, you must know that He will answer (Matthew 7: 7-9). 2. When you give alms, He wants you to expect a payback from Him (Proverbs 19: 17). 3. When you praise and worship God, expect Him to respond (Psalm 22: 3). 4. When you pay your tithe and give offerings, expect Him to bless you (Malachi 3: 10-12; Luke 6: 38). 5. When you lead a righteous and godly life, expect heaven to be your home (2 Peter 1: 10-11). 6. There are grea

Authority CODE 101

By Revd 'Remi Tejumola Shalom! Faith is required in order to have an effective exercise of our God-given authority. Faith is a must. Faith must be mixed with the use and exercise of our authority. Joshua spoke to both the sun and the moon to stand still till the battle against Ai was won. Jesus said to the fig tree, "No man eat fruit of thee hereafter for ever" (Mark 11: 14). The fig tree died and withered from its roots. Sometime in deliverance ministration, when we found out that an evil spirit has almost a total control over a person, we would say, "Let there be a separation between the human spirit and the ruling evil spirit in this person" and it happened immediately. We did that so that we could speak to the real person about giving his life totally to Jesus. Once that is done, it became easier to get the person delivered. And how did we get people delivered? We obeyed Jesus' instruction, "In my name shall they cast out demons" (Mark 16: 1

Authority CODE 101

By Revd 'Remi Tejumola Shalom! Jesus said, "Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you. Notwithstanding in this rejoice not, that the spirits are subject unto you; but rather rejoice, because your names are written in heaven" (Luke 10:19-20). I have learnt from the Word that Jesus name works mainly for the children of God's kingdom. I said this because many times God shows unbelievers through this name that the claims about Jesus are true. So when they use the name in adverse circumstances, it works! But a lot of believers carry this name about like a wishbone. They exercise no faith in the name so it doesn't work for them. A number of times at night, around 2am thereabout, I would hear dogs on my street backing for no natural reason (I hope you understand what I meant), keeping people awake. Under my breathe, I'd just take authority over them and say, Be quiet
