All Consuming Desire #8

By Revd 'Remi Tejumola Faith must always have an objective. It doesn't just stay there. One definition of faith is trust. Bible faith then is talking about trusting God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit. One important truth is that the Almighty Father really want you to have all the good things you need and the good things that you want. Jesus puts it this way: "Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you: For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened. Or what man is there of you, whom if his son ask bread, will he give him a stone? Or if he ask a fish, will he give him a serpent? If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children, how much more shall your Father which is in heaven give good things to them that ask him?" (Matthew 7:7-11). This is enough assurance for me that I can get from God whatever good thing I ask of Him. Now let'

Revd 'Remi Tejumola Faith confession is what you believe in your heart and confess with your mouth. It is more than just a recitation of prayers from a book. Your whole heart must be fully involved with it to get results. Romans 10:10 10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. You believe with your heart that you have recieved what you prayed for at that time when you prayed, then you make corresponding confessions which will result into the manifestation of the desired thing! You must couple up your confession of faith with corresponding action - behave as someone who actually believe that his prayers are answered (not just heard). The apostle James said, "Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone. Yea, a man may say, Thou hast faith, and I have works: shew me thy faith without thy works, and I will shew thee my faith by my works" (James 2:17-18). Your works (actions) will show your faith

By Revd 'Remi Tejumola Jesus said, "Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them" (Mark 11:24). And the apostle Paul said, "... God, who quickeneth the dead, and calleth those things which be not as though they were" (Romans 4:17). When you're taking the faith stand you behave like God and call things which be not as though they were. A crippled person will call himself healed. The same thing, a person with any other kind of disease. He will say so because that's what he believes! The moment you ask God for it, believe that He has done it for you - DONE! And that's what you are to confess: God has done it and I have now (whatever it may be). Praise God and thank Him. Understand that faith and anxiety cannot co-exist, fear, unbelief and faith cannot work together at all. Paul puts it this way, "Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with t
