Happy New Year! Revd 'Remi Tejumola Hello, hi! It's a Happy New year to you folks. Do not mind the fact that I'm just greeting you today the 27th of January. I've had some personal challenges that seemed to get to a head in December. But thanks be to God we won! The Year 2008 holds a lot of promises for us all. But it all depends on how close to God we get. And we do need to get very close to God. Getting close to God involves several important things: 1. You must have your life consecrated and dedicated to God with all of your heart. You must be a committed Christian (Romans 12: 1-2). 2. You must give the Word of God first place in your life (Proverbs 4: 20-22). You need to learn how to live by faith because your success and victories in life is dependent on it (2 Corinthians 5: 7; Romans 1: 16-17; Matthew 21: 21-22; James 1: 1-8). 3. You must have a prayer life so that you will be able to ascertain the will of God through the leading of the Holy Spirit regarding all t
