Communion of the Holy Ghost #2

by Revd 'Remi Tejumola For many years, a lot of Christians have prayed and have desired that God would grant them fellowship with the Holy Ghost, and it has seemed as if their prayers have gone unanswered. This is what the Bible says, "But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him" (Hebrews 11:6). I want to suggest that you go over this verse of the Bible as many times as possible. The understanding you will receive will open up a lot of things in your relationship with the Almighty God. When you want to approach the Holy Ghost for fellowship, the approach of faith matters very much. You must approach Him the way Hebrews 11:6 instructs - by faith. You must be certain that He is there and that He will respond to your invitation. That is faith. You shouldn't be expecting a physical sensation to confirm His Presence. Go by the Word, He is there with you. L

Communion of the Holy Ghost #1

By Revd 'Remi Tejumola The Apostle Paul, in his epistle to the church at Corinth, prayed, "The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Ghost, be with you all. Amen" (2 Corinthians 13:14). This prayer contained a couple of important truths we need to take note of: The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, the love of God and the communion of the the Holy Ghost. Right now, I just want to dwell on the COMMUNION OF THE HOLY GHOST. Every child of God has the God-given privilege of having presently in their lives the presence and person of the Holy Ghost (or Spirit). He got in there when the believer received Jesus Christ into his life as Saviour and Lord. According to the plan and purpose of the Almighty God the Father, He has been in that life since the moment he accepted Jesus. Having Him in you is one thing, but having fellowship with the One who is in you is another thing entirely. It is a great thing to have Him in you and
