The Believers' Authority 1

By Revd 'Remi Tejumola Shalom! I pray that this new month will bring your way a lot of favorable things in Jesus name! Amen. Today I want to share with you one of the most important truth every Christian ought to know. It's called, The Believers' Authority . In the Gospel of Luke, Jesus spoke some things to His disciples that also is true about us today. Let's see it. Luke 10: 19-20 19 Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you. 20 Notwithstanding in this rejoice not, that the spirits are subject unto you; but rather rejoice, because your names are written in heaven. The word 'power' is actually 'authority' in the Greek language which in everyday language means 'right' . Jesus then said, I give you the right to tread upon serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you . The word 'tread&#

Technology

By Revd 'Remi Tejumola Shalom! We've now come to the end of August 2009. Which means exactly 8months of this year is just gone. It also mean that you have just 4months to achieve anything of note this year. So get busy! Technology For you to be able to send and recieve emails via your phone and to be able to browse the internet on it, your phone must be at least 2G or 3G capable phone. It must be wap or gprs compliant. Find out through the website of your service provider which phones are compliant with their system before purchase. Your phone must be able to accept phone applications. It should have space for a memory card. If you have an email account on either Yahoo or Gmail, get the mobile application installed on your phone. The rest now depends on how smart you are with electronic gadgets and at reading the operating manuals. Then you can get cracking! I do hope this information is useful to you. Have a blessed month ahead. God bless.

Healing is Yours Now!

By Revd 'Remi Tejumola Shalom! There is a verse of the Bible that's been so very strong in my heart for over 24hrs now. I sensed that I am to share it with you first before attempting to round off what I am sharing about Technology. Here it is: 1 Peter 2: 24 24 Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed. The process Jesus took to get us forgiveness for our sins is the same one He used to get us healing and health - by the sacrifice of Himself. He gave Himself as our substitute. He took our sins in exchange for His righteousness, and our diseases for His health as a result of which forgiveness and healing is a reality today. The Son of God took our place at the place of God's judgement. So, in the perfect will of God forgiveness and healing are freely yours now. The Bible says, "By whose stripes YE WERE HEALED". You may not feel like this now, but you hav

Technology

By Revd 'Remi Tejumola Shalom! I want to tell you a truth: I've been able to post as many messages as you have seen because I recently learnt how to update my blogspot via my email through my cellphone while on the road. Now I don't have to get into the comfort of my home to access the internet and then navigate to my blogspot. I've been checking my emails and sending emails through my phone for more than a year now. We live in a modern world with a lot of technological advancements. I have on my phone a Bible application with which I study the Bible from Genesis to the book of Revelation without missing a verse. I also use it to prepare the messages for my blogspot on the internet. I also have two mobile phone Dictionaries on my cellphone. I can check for meanings of words on the go. You may think, 'The phone must be pretty expensive' , but on the contrary, it's not. You can now have smartphones which costs ranges from N12,000 to over N100,000 . The o

The Great Commission

By Revd 'Remi Tejumola Shalom! It's been almost 2000 years since Jesus gave His Church the great Commission to evangelise the whole world, and a lot of millions of souls have been won for Him. I thank God today for the few Christians out there on the field still doing it. But I realised today that the percentage of those who are involved in soul-winning in the Church today are few. If a large enough percentage of us are involved, a lot more in a short time will be accomplished. Time is running out. This is a clarion call going out to all Christians, so many people are still trapped there in the darkness of the evil one. We have been authorised to set them free with the message of the Gospel. If we will not go, Jesus cannot go. He's working only with us. He speaks through our lips and work through our hands to heal, deliver and to save. Let's respond to Him: Matthew 28: 18-20 20 And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth

The Blood of Jesus

By Revd 'Remi Tejumola The precious blood of Jesus , which He shed on the cross at Calvary, got us redemption from sin and its consequences. I'm talking about the blood of the Son of the Almighty God. The blood of animals were acceptable for the atonement of men's sins under the Old Covenant, at least once a year. It was part of the statutes of the Law then. Leviticus 17: 11 11 For the life of the flesh is in the blood . . . for it is the blood that maketh an atonement for the soul. Under the Old Covenant the blood of animals cover men's sins for a year. Under the New Covenant, the blood of the Son of God remit our sins - blotted them out of existence. Nothing else can do that. It may seem as if forgiveness of sins just require repentance from sin. If it were so Jesus blood would not need to be shed. But it's not cheap at all. The blood of the Son of God had to be shed to have it. It was by the blood of Jesus that satan was defeated. That's why he cannot stand t

Repentance, Forgiveness & Healing

By Revd 'Remi Tejumola Shalom! The word Shalom used in greeting you is the Hebrew word for Peace. It means 'Peace be with you' . The Bible gives us an account of Jesus earthly ministry that has something to do with today's message, "And, behold, they brought to him a man sick of the palsy, lying on a bed: and Jesus seeing their faith said unto the sick of the palsy; Son, be of good cheer; thy sins be forgiven thee" (Matthew 9:2). In this account, Jesus not only forgave the man's sin, He also got him healed: Matthew 9:3-7 3 And, behold, certain of the scribes said within themselves, This man blasphemeth. 4 And Jesus knowing their thoughts said, Wherefore think ye evil in your hearts? 5 For whether is easier, to say, Thy sins be forgiven thee; or to say, Arise, and walk? 6 But that ye may know that the Son of man hath power on earth to forgive sins, (then saith he to the sick of the palsy,) Arise, take up thy bed, and go unto thine house. 7 And he aro

Living For Heaven

By Revd 'Remi Tejumola Shalom! You can't go to heaven behaving like hell. This phrase did not originate from me even t hough I rephrased it. It came from a Gospel album with this title, 'You can't get to heaven looking like hell' . I have forgotten who the Singer was, but the message is clear. The kind of life you're leading now, is it portraying a life of one on the way to heaven? You need to know that there are criteria by which a person will be able to enter into heaven. Number 1, Jesus said, "Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God" (John 3:3). You must surrender your life to Jesus for this to happen to you. You must be born again - experience a transformation of life. Since people don't get born-again and immediately get translated to heaven, number 2 is, "LORD, who shall abide in thy tabernacle? who shall dwell in thy holy hill? He that walketh uprightly, and worketh righteousness

Your Exposure Matters

By Revd 'Remi Tejumola What kind of knowledge have you been exposed to? What have you fed yourself with? What kind of knowledge have you recieved through your Pastor? Whether you realise it or not, you are influenced and your life is directed in the direction of the kind of mindset that you have, which is largely influenced by the kind of knowledge that you have. What you know and what you're ignorant of affect your life. The kind of Pastor you listen to, and the kind of church you attend affects you. The kind of books, tapes, videos and the kind of friends you keep affects your life. Make no mistake about it, you are what you eat. Jesus puts it this way, "A good man out of the good treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is good; and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is evil: for of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaketh" (Luke 6:45). What you filled your heart with, comes out of your mouth and your life. Your

The Sin Factor

Revd 'Remi Tejumola The Bible says, "Behold, the LORD'S hand is not shortened, that it cannot save; neither his ear heavy, that it cannot hear: But your iniquities have separated between you and your God, and your sins have hid his face from you, that he will not hear" (Isaiah 59:1-2). The word 'save' also mean deliver, heal and make whole. So when God says it's not that He couldn't save, it includes all the other meanings. Apart from a lack of faith on the part of the needy, sin is another factor that prevents God from doing things for people. This then shows that ministers of the Gospel shouldn't be blamed when some people failed to have their needs met. Once the obstacles are removed, the glory of God will manifest and the needs of the people will be met. I want you to know it's a glorious thing when people's needs are met by God. People like me always rejoice when it happens this way. Till next time, God bless.

The Holy Spirit Moves 8

By Revd 'Remi Tejumola Shalom! Great day to you friend. I hope you are gaining from this on going sharing about the work of the Holy Spirit in my ministry over the years. In a few weeks' time my book Understanding Opportunity will be out. The structure has been in place for a few years. I will now fill it up for publication. Look out for it. It's gonna add to you. The Bible says, "For the kingdom of God is not meat and drink; but righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost" (Romans 14: 17). Over the years in my meetings people have encountered Holy Spirit joy, and have broken out laughing and dancing! It's been quite a refreshing thing for everyone. But really people have encountered a lot more than those aforementioned. In my first meeting with the CCIC D-Line Centre , among other things that the Holy Spirit did, His power came upon a dear sister, and she struggled to get into her car after the service, trying to go home, but couldn't move it fo

The Holy Spirit Moves 7

By Revd 'Remi Tejumola Shalom! I hope you're following me real close. Don't you miss out on any of these moves of the Holy Spirit I've been sharing with you. Isaiah 61: 1-3 1 The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon me; because the LORD hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound; 2 To proclaim the acceptable year of the LORD, and the day of vengeance of our God; to comfort all that mourn; 3 To appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the LORD, that he might be glorified. There are several things mentioned in this Bible passage that should interest you about the work of the Holy Spirit. His work is always a manifestation of the will of Almighty God. But h

The Holy Spirit Moves 6

By Revd 'Remi Tejumola Shalom! The faith realm is God's realm. It is Jesus realm, and it is the realm of the Holy Spirit. Even all believers in Jesus Christ belongs in that realm. If you are a born-again Christian, this is your realm. You're a creature of faith. 1 John 5: 4 For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith. I want you to understand that victory is always attached to faith. When you get into faith you have entered into the realm of victory in whatever area it is where you're standing on God's Word. The realm of faith is filled with unlimited possibilities. If you come to think of it, you will realize that every step into faith is a step into divine creativity. In April 1994, I went to the UCH to fellowship with the Praise Temple which was founded by a friend, Dr. Sola Fola-Alade. It was a church which consisted mainly of medical students. As result of this they have to set up new

The Holy Spirit Moves 5

By Revd 'Remi Tejumola Shalom! One major lesson that I began to learn as a born-again Christian is the subject of faith, and I am still learning it after 24years. I found out that if a Christian is ignorant of this subject, he will lead a lopsided life. Things will be very difficult for him in this life. The Bible says, "The just shall live by his faith" (Habakuk 2: 4). God works with those who have learnt and are living and walking by faith. The Bible says, "But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him" (Hebrews 11: 6). So faith is a must for those that would walk with God. In Mark 11: 22-24, the Bible says, "And Jesus answering saith unto them, Have faith in God. For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that tho

The Holy Spirit Moves 4

By Revd 'Remi Tejumola Shalom! The works of the Holy Spirit varies, no one knows it all. But it's so exciting when one finds out about them. I was part of the Faith Clinic team that travelled with Dr. I. K. U. Ibeneme to minister at a campmeeting, December 1985. It was a deliverance session with the church on the outskirt of Lagos State. Our method of ministry was to ask individuals what problem they have, and we minister accordingly. After I had prayed with several people, it came to the turn of a brother. I went thru the normal process of our ministration and he stuttered and said, 'I am a stammerer'. I was flabbergasted because at that moment I didn't know what to do. But I just said, 'In Jesus' name, I plead the blood. Be healed!' and I took off to another place. During the testimony time, the brother said in very clear words, 'You know me. . . ' and the place became wild with excitement and shouts of 'Hallelujah!' rended the air!

The Holy Spirit Moves 3

By Revd 'Remi Tejumola Shalom! There are certain activities I became involved with early in my Christian life which really prepared me for ministry even though I didn't realize that I am in ministry. I just thought I was serving Jesus. Like I said in my earlier post, I learnt through reading and studying how to minister the Holy Spirit baptism, I also took the time to learn how to minister healing to sick people. Mark 16: 14-18 14 ¶ Afterward he appeared unto the eleven as they sat at meat, and upbraided them with their unbelief and hardness of heart, because they believed not them which had seen him after he was risen. 15 And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. 16 He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned. 17 And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; 18 They shall take up serpents; and if they dr

Ministry Update

By Revd 'Remi Tejumola Good day to you, friend. Hope you've been good. Even though the main emphasis about my newest book is on the residency of the Holy Spirit in the believer, lead by the same Holy Spirit, I spoke at length on how to recognize His guidance in our individual lives. Not knowing that I've just published a new book along these lines, I was just invited by the All Souls' Church in Bodija Estate, Ibadan to come and minister to them along these same lines every wednesday of the month of September. This invitation confirmed my leading about the book. Like I said, Holy Spirit, My Resident Helper , is a must have and a must read book for all. It will help you a great deal. I will soon have the ebook version of each of my books ready for you to download via my website. I will continue my Biblical Sharings about some of the things the Holy Spirit had done in my meetings over the years in my next posting. Till then, God bless.

The Holy Spirit Moves 2

By Revd 'Remi Tejumola I hope you had a nice weekend, friend. After travelling around for meetings, I was able to rest the last weekend. But of course, work starts today. My prayer is that you will have a fulfilling and successful week in the name of Jesus. Amen. Now let me continue sharing about the manifestations of the Holy Spirit in my ministry over the years: As a new believer in Christ Jesus, I began to get into the Word to learn about the Way of the Kingdom of God and His Christ, not for preaching, but for my own benefit. Doing that really helped in building a strong foundation for my Christian life. However, after I recieved the baptism in the Holy Spirit, I decided to learn how to minister the Holy Spirit baptism to others. I learnt how to do this through the books written on the subject by Revd Kenneth E. Hagin. I began to get involved in that area of ministry right there at the Faith Clinic, in Ibadan. It wasn't that I just recieved a special grace for it. That came

The Holy Spirit Moves 1

By Revd 'Remi Tejumola Good day to you friend. Today, I want to share some of the things the Holy Spirit had done in my ministry in retrospect. This is meant to inspire you. God can use any believer in Christ to do these things and more. In fact Jesus puts it this way: John 14: 12-14 12 ¶ Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father. 13 And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. 14 If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it. Sometime, some people left the impression that the things that God used them to do is exclusive to them , but that is not really true. I know this is a strong statement, but it can never be stronger than what Jesus Christ, the Son of God, said above in John 14: 12. There is nothing that God had used someone else to do that He cannot use you to do - absolutely NOTHING! In fact, i

The Holy Spirit Moved

Revd 'Remi Tejumola Hi there, friend. Quite a few days had gone by since my last posting with many events having taken place. Michael Jackson's gone and other strange happenings all over the world, including, my BOOK IS OUT! Holy Spirit, My Resident Helper is OUT! It was launched on Sunday at CCIC Shiloh centre after a two-day seminar on the subject. The message was powerfully recieved. The Holy Spirit moved in great power! One pastor was glued to the spot when I asked those that sensed the presence of the Spirit on them to come out. I didn't even know that happened untill he told me after the meeting. What a sweet experience. Next month in Ibadan I will be with J. O. Y. Fellowship of St. Annes Anglican church for their camp meeting on the 3rd of September 2009 by 12 noon. If you can make it, see you there. I wrote this blog on the road via email. Till when I get back home, take care of yourself. God bless.
