The Holy Spirit Moves 7

I hope you're following me real close. Don't you miss out on any of these moves of the Holy Spirit I've been sharing with you.

Isaiah 61: 1-3
1 The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon me; because the LORD hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound;
2 To proclaim the acceptable year of the LORD, and the day of vengeance of our God; to comfort all that mourn;
3 To appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the LORD, that he might be glorified.

There are several things mentioned in this Bible passage that should interest you about the work of the Holy Spirit.

His work is always a manifestation of the will of Almighty God. But here, right now, I want to focus on just two out of the rest, ...to appoint to them that mourn the oil of joy; the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness.

Did you know that the Holy Spirit does such things. These has occurred in a number of my meetings when holy laughter would just break out! This occurred when I ministered at Christ Life Church, Elekuro, Ibadan, pastored by Ps. Bolaji Carew and also at Spring Life Church, Onikolobo, Abeokuta, Ogun State, pastored by Rev. Lanre Orepo, 1993 and 1994 respectively. Actually, it began to happen in my meetings since then. People will just bust out laughing as if someone had told them a big joke, while their spiritual batteries are been charged and made alive again. Glory be to God!

Time Element in Faith

The Bible says, "Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen" (Hebrews 11:1). When should one take the step of faith? (Now!) A Soldier Gone To Headquaters

By Revd 'Remi Tejumola Shalom! A senior friend just went home to be with the Lord, PASTOR PATRICK EZEKUDE OBAZE. He was aged 78 years old. I got to know him in 1985 after I became a part of the Faith Clinic which was founded by Rev. (Dr.) I.K.U. Ibeneme of blessed memory. Uncle 'Bobo' Obaze, as was fondly called by Dr. Ibeneme, was one of the numerous workers that the Faith Clinic had in those days in the mid-80s. All the workers came from different churches and ministries, and were of various ages and giftings. In spite of his age, He was simple and humble. He was easy to get along with, and very kind. Faith's Place

By Revd 'Remi Tejumola Shalom! God's face always shine with pleasure when He finds people who took Him at His Word - those who live by faith. Hebrews 11: 5-6 5 By faith Enoch was translated that he should not see death; and was not found, because God had translated him: for before his translation he had this testimony, that he pleased God. 6 But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him. God is always excited when His people exercises faith in Him by taking Him at His Word.
